VHS is huge flex really. Can't really edit it like you can with digital stuff so you know it's 100% legit

Really wish another Rusty Cooley solo album would come. I started learning from Rusty with the chips from hell stuff. Awesome! I highly recommend his tutorials for anyone wishing to master alternate picking and learning the fretboard.

Another interesting thing i notice here is how when rusty goes from the main pedal point motif to the fast 6s part he COMPLETELY changes his grip on the pick..i noticed this on a few parts and just found that interesting 😉 rusty is the texas shed god period

One of my fave tracks of the album... now i can start transcribing some of the parts i couldnt figure out like the t3 t3 taps to descendjng arpeggios part and the wild fat extended tap part...i always wondered how rusty made that sound its actually two freting fingers and taps sick af... also the proper way to finger the end chordal part... gotta play it just like rusty

I still remember finding your vids back on the interwebs, in the olden days of the late 90's early 00's I remember thinking cool we have the same name, then my jaw hit the floor I thought I was decent player playing Tool, Pantera, RATM, AIC, you were the first serious axe player I ever saw, and it made me want to learn more, and try harder pieces, and reach that level I never thought I could reach, so thank you very much for that, and thank you for the awesome music over the years!!

Hey Rusty. Just curious, looks like your right hand technique for when you're picking faster lines is different from now. Just wondering if you changed it for any particular reason or if it was more of a natural thing? Thanks man!
