"I own two Katanas and two practice ones so that makes me an expert! And since you don't buy into the mysticism of the katana and it's meaning, you don't know anything" First off, bold assumption to make of anyone especially off of two comments. Second, I know full well about the meaning thing. Problem is: It's mostly bullshit. *To me at least.* It's fully locked into the culture of the blade. The deification of katanas is pretty fucking foreign to anyone that's not from Japan or people who've heavily invested into aspects of it's culture as you seem to have. So tone down the condscending BS, stop assuming people aren't as invested as you in something are ignorant and finally, don't declare "End of discussion" on a public forum. It's basically declaring that you can't back your shit up so you're trying to shut discussion down before people question your BS. and it practically begs for a challenge from contrarians like me.
