Very enjoyable video Gavin, that old Prefect bought back some good memories I've done a few miles as a passenger in one of those when my brother had one it was just the old road going one though. Don't let Jordan Salt see that McLaren or he will breakdown in tears😭😂 I do like the high build primer you used with the first light coat then three back to back, is that any good as an airdry or does it have to be baked? I always use the Under 325-00 WoW primer as it goes on really nice👍
@JohnWD40TC02 hi John yes the prefect wouldn't be the best everyday car these days it's absolutely tiny inside😌 hopefully Jordan doesn't watch my channel🤔 you can air dry the 355-00 primer if you've never tried it it is an amazing product we tend to bake all our processes!! but our favourite is the 325-00 wet on wet awesome primer💪💪

Hi mate I've never used any Sagola guns so I can't really comment to be honest, I really like that they feel this GTI Pro Lite but only ever use it with a te20 air cap it's versatile and easy to get on with all I ever paint through mine is 2K Direct gloss the eye water Supernova is my preferred clear coat gun with a 1.3 HD air cap
Hi mate yes it's shocking that it had gone this badly corroded in such a short period most of the body panels are made from aluminium a friend of mine used to work at McLaren quite some time ago he said all they used to do was hit it with some primer this is why I like to use plenty of epoxy it saves all these issues the roof is made of glass fibre
@@wayne9230 the starchem but it's changed recently it's very runny now and dries out very quickly I've sent them an email to see if I have some bad stock
