Rutger Hauer on Dutch "Pauw en Witteman" talkshow. January 14 2008. Hosts: Paul Witteman & Jeroen Pauw. With English subtitles. About: "25th Anniversary Edition" of Blade Runner (2007) & Rutger Hauer autobiography
Rutger Hauer had insight and depth . . .his keen, beautiful eyes didn't miss a thing. He's always been one of my heroes. What a beautiful man. Rest in peace, shining Knight. xo
A beautiful man inside and out, I'm sure of it. Sweet Rutger. My heart hurts every time I look at him now. My fav actor, my Hero, gone, so quickly. Rest now dear Rutger, you had the most beautiful eyes...❤️
One of the wonderful things about his voice is that it stayed true to his native language. In that respect he remained the actor and the person he was back in the sixties.
Wow, beautiful poem. I like that he didn't adopt a stage name, and that he was married 50 years, and that he didn't go all Hollywood. A true artist. And good taste in clothes too, and...a beautiful talented daughter!! I expect you stole the show in bladerunner.
Such a composed, estimable man. tears...watching this today...as, sadly..he has just passed. will always revere him as a 'giant' of a man, and a Legend, in the film sphere. god speed, 'dark hitchhiker'.
Rutger was such an intelligent and passionate man, that this 'interview' barely gave him enough time to say what he wanted to say. I feel that this interview was a real missed opportunity. I also cant help feeling that Pauw and Witteman were somewhat intimidated by this artist. RIP Mr Hauer. You will be missed.
We lost a great actor . . ONE OF THE BEST !!! . . .love The Hitcher ( 1986 ) . . . Q:E:P:D. descanse en paz . . .Perdimos a un gran actor . . uno de los mejores . . amè la pelìcula The Hitcher ( 1986 ). . .Saludos desde México . . greetings from Mèxico !
I can’t watch Rutger interviews that much now. I just cry when I see him .. I love his movies though… it’s kind of like he’s still alive when I watch them … I’m gonna watch LadyHawke again soon..
@@Acquisitor I have no intention of leaving this fascinating world anytime soon,I was quoting the last words of the replicant that Rutger played in Bladerunner, directly after his beautifully poetic dying words, 'All those moments lost in time, like tears in rain'..'Time to die' I don't mind admitting that I wept tears myself during this scene,Wishing you a blessed life.❣
There once was a girl in my life whos name was also ironically Jenny and we could talk in quotes for hours, regrettably those memories cant get lost in time since I since feel the urge to visit Jenny's grave, its too bad she wouldnt live.. . She hasn't even left me a son though btw :/
helthuismartin Volgens mij heb jij een heel slecht beoordelingsvermogen. Is dit alles wat er bij je opkomt als je deze man ziet en hoort? Hij maakt overigens behoorlijk lange zinnen.
@@desertrose1226 It is not because of the poem. It is because him saying " that was the best thing ever" . I mean...... the inducement to write the poem was not that nice.
Well, no wonder he declined so fast and is no longer with us. He said in this interview... to be healthy and not eat meat. Poor misguided soul. Didn’t even know how to nourish his body.
