Legendary U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whose liberal force on the court and advocacy for women cemented her as a feminist icon with the nickname 'Notorious RBG,' has died at age 87. She died of complications from cancer, the Supreme Court announced Friday night.
Days before her death, according to NPR, she told her granddaughter: 'My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.'

@@jazzdude904 @jazzdude904. It’s called sarcasm. Women are constantly told that they are too emotional and hysterical to hold positions of power and he embarrassed himself. If a woman had done that, she wouldn’t have been seated. Secondly, I believe her, not him.

She was a Democrat candidate who got a support promise from Republican. If we watch her full confirmation hearing, we will find that every senator in the room both Democrat and Republican thanked her for her advocate for gender equality. Several senators gave private remarks that without her they would never know whether their daughters would have the same opportunity the way they had the same opportunity in that day.

Hopefully we are approaching the end of the road on this race embraced by great men and women who like Ruth saw no other way, but to stay in the race and run that extra mile in their persut to be seen as equal. Thanks God for her and so many others, some even anonymous.
