We are not Dutch, and we don't speak Dutch either. My ancestors came to Africa from Germany 300 years ago, and my wife's maiden name is ethnically Swedish. My People are a combination of Dutch, German, French, English, Polish, Portugese, Greek, Norwegian, Swedish and Russian ancestry. You can't point to just one European ethnic group and say that the Boers are descendents of those people. What you're doing is similar to saying that all white Americans are English, and that is just as stupid. If you ever have the opportunity to visit South Africa don't call anyone a Dutchman, because that is an insult that can land you in hospital.

@@RazorMouth everyone knows, the boks are like a Python in the knock-outs. Constantly tightening their strangle-hold. Their mstch against France was brilliant - from both sides. Ref was a bit dodgy, but nonetheless a brilliant match.
Most Afrikaans people have, French, Dutch, German blood and some other countries but we don’t see ourselves as European. We love our heritage but we are African first.

It was yes, until it wasn’t, in terms of progress and good governance. The South African people are awesome, the politicians however are so backward in their thinking, planning and implementation it has hampered economic progress of the country and set it back by decades.

2019 we're on a golf trip in SA, and part of our group is up somewhere on a game reserve whilst we hang in Joburg. We get a picture through from them standing with RG and some of the Bulls (not sure why they were up there). The guy made everyone look miniscule. Beast of a man.

@@Canvashednot an expert at South African history but I'm pretty sure the Afrikaners don't have English ancestry. The Anglo's are a separate group there. Afrikaners from what i know are predominantly of German and Dutch decent.

It doesnt hurt when you play against semi pros, Costelo, Roger's AND CAI Evan's together weigh the same as Snyman who let's remember isnt first choice behind Dejager and Etsebeth. SA looked good against a Welsh team with 8 players with less than 5 caps, 6 had 2 friendly games and less under their belt lol. Moody wont start ahead of Kolby, or Arendse, and SA will never win a RWC with a 60% kicking rate. SA were dominated by NZ afew weeks ago, and struggled to put Argentina away, still big questions over their squad!

There's a hunger which is not in Europe countries. Three of the four teams in the semi finals were southern. They not comfortable with just playing they want to win for the people back home..

The way i seebthis game houng is that the AB's will run the big forwards off their feet and then they will resort to dirty tatics and get sent off which will sink SA and end up in a win for the AB's.
