Great point Boni. Y’all are wrong about the Nigerian elections. I followed it closely, the young people showed up but when their version of IEBC called INEV saw that Peter Obi they young candidate was winning they switched off the voting system! And then declared the old guy president in the middle of the night at 3am! Just like was done in Kenya. Why declare a president in the wee hours if you have nothing to hide.

For the peace of the country ,let kenyans allow Ruto to lead and finish his term then after people should vote another president . Him and his allies have heard the message, especially on corruption, and he runs government business.

As the citizens we need to hold our leaders accountable. There should be laws allowing constituents and citizens to recall leaders who are not effective/efficient. Leaders are in power to serve the people...not the other way round. Transparency in public governance will enhance accountability. The way forward is to strategize and define what we expect from the governments to come.
