Congratulations on a solid PA buck, thats no 2 year old thats for sure. I like the new Ramcats this year, I usually switch it up every year just for fun
I have tried many over the years but always found my way back to Thunderheads 100 grain. Nothing like a fixed blade IMO. Always get good penetration with them.
Doesn't it feel awesome to put the smackdown on the buck, and also have it on film as well. I know your blood was pumping and you enjoyed the awesome experience. Congratulations LiveAction
Same here! My son shot a mature doe through both shoulders and lungs and passed through into the ground and it was still sharp enough to shave hair!! Love the G-5 montecs!!
@@wiseguysoutdoors2954 ...and while we're at it, let's take a moment to remember how hard it is to get an adult doe in bow range without getting made. They're so dadgum smart, and often surrounded by other pairs of eyes, that I think it's a highly underrated challenge, especially if it's a doe of the 3 or 4 year range or older.
Awesome buck! Congratulations on your biggest with the bow! I especially like that you followed the deer after the shot so we could watch also!!! So many channels skip that. Great hunt!
I use G-5 montecs and my son shot through both shoulders and lungs of a mature doe and into the ground. After cleaning off the broadhead, it had no chips and was sharp enough to shave hair after all of that!!!
I laugh when people argue that the rut hasn't started in PA.....everything was two weeks early this year.....I got them coming into buck urine and estrus already.
I've seen alot on the single bevil in video seems like when the arrow hits them they dont even know what happened and just look around till they fall over or you could shoot him again if your unconfident
Vandiem single bevel wicked 150gr and also shooting old school Barrie Rocky Mountain 160gr 1 1/4" both have been awesome at putting the deer on the ground! Congratulations on a great buck!
First of all I must give props to the stud buck and secondly the high quality video. My broadhead of choice is the Rage Hypodermic NC125 gr. Ive used Rage for ten years because thats what walmart had on the shelf. Now the new design doesn't use the collar and the 2" cut is devastating. Tracking is easy with a thick blood trail. Again... Awesome video!!!!
I’ve been using NAP Killzones the last two years. I took 3 deer with them. Longest recovery was 40 yards and the shortest was 10 yards. All 3 broad heads were unusable after the shot, but they did the trick. The best part was the reasonable price tag
Beautiful Buck. My favorite broadhead is the Rage two blade hypodermic. I also filled my tag early on September 19th in Pa. First Day of Season. 19 inch 8pt. Good luck keep the videos coming thanks...
Congrats on the toad!!! And grim reaper 100 grain triple blade razor tip broadheads opens um up like someone walked behind um with a five gallon bucket of blood
Congratulations on a great buck brother!!! Keep the videos coming and good luck on the rest of your season, just a doe here in East TN but starting to get good
Magnus blackhornet ser razr for sure, American made and a lifetime warranty, and oh ya they like fly like darts, these are absolutely my favorite! Swhacker for mechanics. Nice buck congrats
First congrats! Excellent PA Buck. Tooth of the arrow broadhead for me . Good job self filming. Look forward to your next adventure! Keep the faith!👍🦌🏁🇺🇸🏹
I like the Rage Hypodermic expandable broadhead, they have worked great for me. Great buck by the way, great shot and good job filming, i am now a subscriber!!
Shoulder shot a doe last year with a Montec G5 and went clean through. Probably never switch from them. You know you're from PA when you call it PA not Pennsylvania. Beautiful buck 👍👍
I agree! My son shot a mature doe and the montec passed through both shoulders and lungs, on into the ground and it was still sharp enough to shave hair!!
That's what I'm using this year. The small cut had me worried but I read nothing but good reviews and any time I see steelheads for sale on ebay they are bought up in like a day especially the old school ones so that's a good sign I guess
I got like 5 of the silver newer 100's and 3 of the old school pre trophy ridge 125 grain STEELHEADS. I WOULD have shot the 125s this year but I have to figure out how to resharpen them first
New sub here congrats on a beautiful buck, as a self filmer myself I know the challenges of trying to execute a shot and get a deer in frame and you did a great job... Keep up the great work
