Wing rear spar top skin dimpling and prep
In this video I go through the process of dimpling the first top skin. I use the DRDT2 and show you how I do it.
I discuss the need to make sure to do this particular bit correctly because the skin is the first thing you see when you walk up to a plane! Take your time.
I also do my best to answer the question someone posed; Why not just machine counter sink the whole plane? Good question! I answer that towards the end.
I also talk to the little scratches caused by the dimpling tool and your countersink tool and why its no big deal.
