Loved this video! Bought this last year for my Toy Hauler, installed the rear antenna on the ladder, and played with it but didn’t fully install it yet because of the cable runs and determining where I was going to put everything. Your video gives me the incentive to finish the job. Seeing how you tested it was very helpful.

So very nice to hear from you Brett! It works great. There are several other videos on my channel of me using it and getting 80 meg downloads at Birch Creek when there is no signal otherwise. Take care my friend!

I used Wilson Cell Booster on my mirrors when I was trucking. Always seemed to work good.

try replacing that small inside receiver antenna in your house with the bigger weboost square white antenna i think you will get better performance
@trbowlin
@trbowlin 5 лет назад
Since I made this video I have replaced the inside antenna. Most of my download performance was related to my old Samsung s4 phone. I got a new S9 and have been seeing 40-50 mbps down which is most acceptable. Thanks for watching!

TR, Thanks for the post. I'll be curious to see your impression of how it performs while you are moving. Larry

You happened to catch me at my computer...Sure thing. I'll be headed towards Borrego Springs early next month so I am sure to come across some cellular free zones. Thanks for watching Larry!

Everything you need to know is in this video about my tools and getting an 80 meg download 50 miles from a cell site. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EX_zx3yqvhg.html Thanks for watching!

@@trbowlin I bought the same item... installed it.. and NO boost at all. I contacted Wilson and they sent me new outside antenna and cable and still NO boost. I am going to call them and hopefully the inside unit is defective... but so far its been a LOT of work to install with no benefit. And I install LOTS of stuff in my MH and have an electronics background so I am very frustrated at this point. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the info and demonstration for installation. Will this Weboost work with any phone carrier?
@trbowlin

Thank you for this video, I also watched the update. My questions would be; If you have a visitor do they get to boost their signal with the same antenna? and if they are with AT&T will it boost? and what about going back to canada, or vice versa, those would be different providers. ? Also is it on 12V? if not did you modify? do you have a video of it? :-0)
@trbowlin
@trbowlin 5 лет назад
Nice to hear from you Julie. Yes your visitors will get their signal boosted with no changes to the system. The booster works with most carriers (AT&T and Verizon for sure) and there should be no difference moving to and from Canada. I did use the included 12V adapter but have not videoed installing the 12V adapter. It was just a simple connect to 12V DC and plugging it into the booster.

@@trbowlin Thank you TR for your answer,, always nice to watch one of your videos! Ok for the 12 V, I thought you did not have a 12v adaptor and had to modify. You have a good day :-0)

Aron Jemison Yes. It has been working well. I did add the directional antenna for when I am in very fringe areas but overall it is working great. Thanks for watching Aron!

@@trbowlin Can you split the antenna signal and run multiple antennas?? (I have a truck camper so..... I would be interested if I could have a permanent antenna on my camper and hook it up when the camper is on)
@trbowlin
@trbowlin 24 дня назад
@@tomduncan1970 Sure, but you could not 'split' the signal. You could only have one antenna connected at a time. I just installed my antenna on my truck camper, but I am leaving the weboost in the camper. I really don't need a boosted signal in my truck. I am deep into scheming on how to mount my old directional antenna on the camper. It should be easy because of the ladder. I want to make sure it doesn't break the bottom mounting feet like it did on my class A.
