My wife and I are preparing to sell our house and start full time most likely in a 39 ft Toy hauler. BUT, we are both on disability and not sure if we can handle a trailer that big. So, your videos are helping us to prepare to down size even further and pursue the campground host lifestyle like the both of you.

I must admit, I bought the same rug (living area) and the same hobby lobby plants (in the bathroom) for our rv as well! We have the same model 2670 MK Imagine and I found your channel. Thank you so much for the inspiration! It's beautiful the way you two have this set up and organized.

Baskets are a great way of keeping cupboards tidy. Just a tip I saw on less junk, more journey: don’t put heavy items in top rear cabinets if an rv. Their rear cabinets above their sofa started breaking from the bouncing when traveling. They too have a grand design. The back of your rv can bounce a lot and those cabinets are not made strong enough to take heavy things like multiple cans and bottles or books etc.

Best to fold the kitchen towels smaller and stand them up instead of laying down. Like a filing system

I love your plants and would like to add some to our RV but don’t know where to put them while traveling

Hi, Dwain! So we do one of two things with our plants on travel days depending on the weather/temps. If it is warm enough to leave them in the RV, we load them in plastic dishpans and/or other small storage containers like those plastic shoeboxes and put them in the shower while we're traveling. Since we have so many, they basically take up the whole shower floor so there isn't even room for them to tip over. The big potted snake plant that we have also has a spot in the bathroom, and we just put a chair on front of it to keep it from tipping. If temps are too cold for the plants to stay in the RV for hours, we still load them in the dishpans and storage containers, and we keep them in the backseat of the truck with us. I'll admit that it can be kind of a pain to carry them from RV to truck and back again when we reach our destination. We decided from the beginning of our full-time journey that this is our home, and our plants are one of the most important parts of making our RV home feel cozy so we are willing to do the extra work of keeping them in the truck with us if we need to. Enjoyed your tips. Have you figured a way to store in the front pass thru? So much stuff to put in when unhitching... all the odds and ends that go in there and really hard to access. Ideas?

We bought the large shallow totes with lids. We were able to stack 2 high, and then put smaller items on top. One had the water hoses, filters, pressure regulator, etc. another had the power cord, the pigtails, the serge protector. We also had one for outside dining….table cloth and clips, cloths line and cloth’s pens, camping light and batter charger. Another for extra shoes, water shoes, shower shoes. Then the large items like chairs, pool noodles, area rug, canopy, Anderson leveling system, drill in its case, tool box. The clear shallow flat totes worked great so you could pull the tote out you need.

If I have sourdough, I leave the cutting board with the bread in ours. Knock the crumbs off and save water washing it. If we are parked for a couple days I will leave the bread knife with it.

Why would you not just take out your microwave completely? You would have more room over all once its out if that space.

Hello! We are leaving the microwave for a few reasons, the first being we're happy with the storage it provides and aren't in need of any additional storage. The second reason is resale. We also just bought a Grand Design, and LOVE it! Question: Do you have a link to the hamper you bought from Home Goods? The one which serves very well as a kitchen trash can? I bought what I thought was a slim trashcan, until I got it in the camper and... well, not so slim. Thanks for your videos and advice!
