Hi y’all! Wow. Great ocean-front camping, for sure! I always wonder how Michelle can put all those sweets away and stay so slim! 🤔. Must be the anxiety that works it off. Stay safe. Beautiful fish 🐠! Don’t have a clue what it is!?!?!?! 😀❤️. Those flowers were very pretty. Don’t think anybody will mind, Brian, that’s you picked a small bouquet 💐 for Michelle. It was interesting to hear about the history of beautification along the highways. Thanks for sharing! 😊
It was fun but sure wish the weather would of been better to enjoy the next morning for a walk on the beach. Also wish we had more time to to stay. I think the fish was a Bull Red Drum but not 100% sure. When you have a RU-vid channel and putting yourself out there...believe me, if we didn’t say something, you can count on someone giving you an ear full. 😂 Michelle agree’s that it MUST be the anxiety.😂 She is driving today and doing a great job! She even pulled out of our camping spot this morning. She’s really enjoying driving the truck.👍🏻😊🤓
We are looking forward to it too! Snowed in Branson too and suppose to get back up in the 70s in Elkhart by Monday. We are not quite there yet...but close! 😊🤓
As a Texan, I absolutely enjoyed how much you enjoyed the beautiful bluebonnets. I LOL with your pronunciation of Tawakoni!! 😂 I’ll have to say it like that from now on! Great video!
I had to laugh out loud when I heard you say your wife called you bud, because I knew how you felt. One time my wife said hey dude. I said, like What!!! Lol 😂
Thank you for another awesome video!! I know there is a lot of work that goes into making these but it is so hard to wait a week between videos!! Have friends that live in Texas so have seen a lot of the state and blue bonnets. Have never been as far south as Katy. A new item on my bucket list!
Thank you! So glad you’re enjoying the vids! 🧡 Texas is so HUGE and has a lot of awesome places to see and visit. We’ve enjoyed our time in the state! 😁🤓
If you come to Indiana be sure to go to Middlebury Ind. At the Essenhaus house. Look it up on line. All the chicken you can eat, and the Amish Bakery is out of this world. Then just go east about 9 miles to Shipshewana Ind. They have a camp ground right in Shipshewana nice one.
Looks like a pretty nice size Red Fish. Very common for Gulf Coast. I have worked at Formosa Plastics many times...that area is a hidden gem for fishing and getting away from the crowds. Fun video....
Cool video thanks for sharing. Glad to see you got your windshield replaced. Breakfast sure did look good definitely could go for that Whole pork skillet. That's definitely camping close to the water.
Hello, I have finally caught up with all your videos...I was up until 1am watching...you all are sooo funny...I am a big pie fan and cobbler person...you have fun in Texas...take care, love Peggy 💘 💕 ❤
when my wife calls me "bud"... I know she's inebriated and frisky 😂 hahahaha... Enjoy 😊 the videos of your travel stories and adventures... Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing..!!
HI guys, we enjoyed your video as always! Thanks for mentioning us that was super sweet.. Hope you guys had a safe trip to Indiana. Hope to see you again soon. Safe Travels.
Unfortunately I did not press & save those flowers. I wish I would have though. They did last quite awhile in water, sitting so pretty on the counter. Yes, we are bffs. 🧡😊🤓
Thanks for Taking us along on your journey! We got to go to our first Buckys in North Florida in 2021 and love it too. Safe travels up to Indiana hope you can get your hydronic heating fixed! #LivinRVision
Hi guys, love the video. Buc eees can get addictive. We saw the blue bonnets over in Fredericksburg this week. We travel HYW 19 a lot going to Texas and back to Iowa. Had to watch the video late today as we were on the road home. Make sure to look us up when you get to Iowa. Stay safe.😎🤓
HEY BUD great video and your spot on the beach looked like a place we would like to go. Good thing you had a great visit with friends. We also follow their channel. We really enjoy your channel. Stay safe.
Our standard line when around big water "It's a angry sea" ! I lived in E TX back in 80s 90s you're making me homesick. great video. Can't wait for a 5 month or more comparison video of Class A versus Airstream living
We were happy that we had a barrier island between us and the gulf, otherwise we would of been a bit more worried. Where’s home now? That should be a good comparison video. 👍🏻😊🤓
@@LivinRVision - Because of Airstream’s rounded form and being pretty watertight they weather storms pretty darn good! I found much less wind buffering than our 5th wheel.
We have alde system in our cirrus truck camper. When it works its great but lots of people have problems and as you know it's hard to find a repair place. Sometimes I think the old forced hot air furnace and propane hot water were best. Very reliable. Hope you get the alde fixed and never have issue with it again. Happy trails
By the way, did anyone tell you the correct pronunciation of Towakani? It's Lake TUh waķ( almost like walk without the 'l' ) can-ee. So: Ta-wa-kan-ee. Lol...we LOVE watching you two Livin Ur Vision! Take care and safe travels! We are born & bred Texans and live on the north side of Canyon Lake. If you are ever in the New Braunfels area come on out! We have a super nice Camping World on the north side of New Braunfels right off I 35 south!
How ironic! We are both originally from that same area! 20 miles away 🧡😊🤓 We usually stay 2-3 weeks in each location, however...we wanted to head down to this beach just to get the “on the beach” camping experience.
Bluebonnets grow in our front yard here in Ontario I dig them out and like dandelions they come back two fold every spring. The filming of the lake at the end was so peaceful thx again for taking time to do these video’s stay safe and healthy covid is rampant here right now in our third lockdown.
Another Buc-ees! Now “Bud “I know you were dying for a taste of that peach treat.....awwww... Blue bonnets so pretty! That storm was scary...we live in Florida and hate the thunderstorms here! A fun video guys! Safe travels!! 😎
We actually have left the area now. Our videos run a few weeks behind. Our cousins in DFW told us the same thing about how to pronounce Tawakoni. LOL We had a great time which you will see in the next 3 weeks. 👍🏻😊🤪
Me and my wife just purchased a camper and will full time rving soon after I install solor and a few other things we watch y'all all the time hope we can meet sometime god bless be safe Billy and michele
@@LivinRVision yes we are very excited for our new journey we have been watching a few of you guys for a while in witch have inspired us to make this plunge into the great unknown 😆 thank y'all safe travels
Hey just think....don't show the food definitely a reason to visit Gringo's yourself and see just how awesome it is. We live not far from there and it truly is AWESOME!! Glad you guys are in Texas. Welcome!!!
Wow, that storm did look pretty intimidating! Great spot though! Glad y’all got the windscreen fixed. That TT park looks good too - we want to stay there. Luckily we have AT&T so we should be good (fingers crossed). Safe travels!
Even though we were on the Bay side, it still made us a little nervous, especially being our first time camping on the beach so close to water. The TT Lake Tawakoni is ok, it’s pretty camping by the lake in Section C, but they are undergoing some updates. Roads are rough. They have done a lot already. Safe travels friends! 👍🏻😊🤓
I always enjoy your videos, thank you! I'm a May baby too Michelle! I'll be 61 this year, and I'm retiring next year, Yea! I've been driving trucks for over 40 years and I'm eager to hand the reins over to the next generation. I see that you camped at Lake Tawakoni which is just North of where our daughter and her family lives in Wills Point. When Susanne retires (a year following me) I'm sure we'll camp there as well. We have a 43' toy hauler, so hopefully there's no problem squeezing in! See you guys next week! Wally and Susanne Williams
May is a great month! 🤓 That’s a long time driving a truck! We went to Wills Point a few times. You won’t have any problems getting your rig into Lake Tawakoni. 👍🏻😊🤓
These may be what the blue bonnets look like. And you may have picked them... off the ground as they may have been detached from their roots. 🤔 Got to get the defense ready just in case.
It was so nice meeting you both! Agree, wish we could have had more time to visit & enjoy some of those beautiful sunsets together! Hopefully we will meet up again sometime. Stay safe! 🧡😁🤓
Welcome toTexas, even though you’re probably gone by now. The Blue Bonnets are probably perineals since they come back each year and spread. But I could be wrong! Safe travels.
Hi guys...looks like you found some nice places to enjoy yourselves in Tejas =))) Me thinks Michelle had a marguerita and her eyes were kinda happy lol. Mexican food it the best. And yes the bluebonnets come back every year. I have a beautiful picture of my young daughter posing in them. Lady Bird planted all kinds of wild flowers and I use to go wild flower picking with my sister in law and come home with a beautiful bouquet for my table. Nice you can see them because Texas takes forever to drive through lol! Hope you stay safe. It's tornado season. Enjoy! Love you guys.
Sweet Texas blue flowers. So beautiful! I learned something about the Blue Bonnets and wild flowers.thanks for the cozy view of the ocean storm. That was a bit close for my comfort. How long did you stay before you pulled out?
We stayed for about a couple hours after getting up and ready. The worst was over and it was going to keep coming most of the day, so we took off. The timing worked out perfect as you could tell. 👍🏻😊🤓
Hi Irene, I try to make the timing about the same for a few reasons. Sorry that you don’t feel it’s long enough. Remember that you can pause the video at any times you need to see something longer or write something down. Hope that helps. 🧡😊🤓
You will find great Free Wifi at the Lodge, which is finally open again. You should go down to Grand Saline and visit the Salt Palace (a building made with salt blocks) and see the history of the Morton Salt Mine. it is only 28 miles away.
Oh bummer! We missed going to see that. We’ve already left the area to head towards Indiana. I’m sure it is something to see! Maybe we can go there another time when we are back. Thanks for sharing 🧡😁🤓
Our Blue Bonnets are the state flower, you can get a fine for picking them, the risk is rattlesnakes are hiding amongst them. Don't pick the Bluebonnets, enjoy 🌵✌
Yes they are, we are always do the research beforehand just to be sure. Michelle looked it up before we picked them...it is illegal to pick them on State Parks or someone’s property. It IS legal to pick them along highways. 👍🏻😊🤓
Buc-ee’s, “Hope it doesn’t give you the up-chuckies” 😂😂 you guys are the best! Oh, thanks for the shoutout on those Costco lights, 👊🏼 We love them! We can’t wait to experience Magnolia Beach camping! ⭐️ Thanks for a great video! 💚
We left the area just over a week ago. Had to go get our Alde system worked on. We enjoyed Texas very much so and got to visit family at the same time. 👍🏻😊🤓
I know you guys are not from around here "Texas" but I laughed out loud when you tried to pronounce Lake Tawakoni. We camp often at Lake Tawakoni State Park. Just so you know it is pronounce TA WALK CAN KNEE. LOL Welcome to Texas.
Wow!! What a storm!!! That had to be very scary! Glad you survived! If you listen to audio books, you should get Isaac’s Storm by Eric Larssen. About the 1900 hurricane that hit Galveston. That will put your beachfront storm watch into perspective! And Gringos....one of our favorites! We now live in north Texas but every time we visit family in Houston we have to stop and eat there ❤️❤️❤️ And yes!! Those margaritas are so good!!! Hope you had some free soft serve while you were there 😜 Glad you are enjoying Texas!!! Safe travels!!
The storm really wasn’t too bad. We have an app that produces pink noise and we use it for sleep. Gringo’s is very good and can you believe that we never did try the soft serve?! 😳
@@LivinRVision my dad has a history of taking the grandkids to the soft serve machine. The seafood enchiladas and soft serve - oh and the green sauce!! Yum!!
Oooh I can almost see us in our Classic Airstream when we go in a couple of weeks to the Delaware Beach. We also plan on going to Texas (traveling from Maryland) in January. In my humble opinion, the hardest part of driving with the Airstream in tow is connecting the truck with the trailer.
Wow... that beach camping would have “wigged me out” a little. Water that close is scary. Thanks for sharing. Oh... why did you have to replace your windshield? Was it broken?
Well it was on the Bay side as we mentioned which the tides don’t get high at all there, otherwise we would of “wigged out” a bit too. 😂 In last weeks video we shared how the windshield was broken. Following a truck a little too close.
Interesting about the flowers, in WA state we get to see lots of Scotch Broom it is beautiful but a noxious weed 😱 rather see flowers😃 New to your channel and you make me laugh at issues with “food” . Thanks for sharing
Great vid .... Careful on filling fresh and traveling...AS is not the best at support of the hundreds of pounds of water bouncing down the road.... Lol...I always forget tow mode there is so much power in the diesel 😂
We never fill it very full when we are traveling long distance but that is a good point for people to know. You would think they would be built strong enough for the amount of fresh water tank capacity that they put in them. It’s so easy to forget to switch to tow mode...like you said, especially when it pulls just fine without tow mode. The truck is a beast! 👍🏻😊🤓
@@LivinRVision to see more look for Ronnie's post on Instagram @Airstreamnutsandbolts He had reinforced the belly pan for someone due to the tank being full and deforming the pan a little...and a little sad no pie from Bucky's 🤣🤣
Next time youre in Rosenberg eat at La Casona...you drove past is on 1st street aka hwy 36....its just before Hwy 59 aka 69....WAY better margaritas. also Schultz family restraunts....they have two side by side...BBQ and everything else...
We are looking to stay at Lake Tawakoni our next trip to Texas and was wondering about your review of it? We stayed at Bay Landing on the other side of Fort Worth last time but Tawakoni is closer to family. Great Video!
We stay at Tawakoni for the same reason, it is closer to our family. Section C with lakefront sites is nice for beautiful sunsets. The park is undergoing some updates but we enjoyed our stay there. Thank you! 😊🤓
Buccees is fun, but Prasek’s Hillje Smokehouse just south of El Campo has some of the best food and the jerky is phenomenal. They opened up a second location in Sealy some years back, never made it out to that location myself.
Y’all are killing me with the home sickness. I am pretty sure the bluebonnets are perennials and not annuals but I may be wrong. Hopefully you’re in Indiana now. they got snow this last week so I hope that didn’t cause you any problems. Safe travels
We are thinking the same that they should be perennials but Michelle read online that they were annuals. 🤷♂️ The highway department plants them along the highways every year. But that wouldn’t explain all the wildflowers growing it fields. 🤷♂️ We have not quite made it to Indiana yet. We’re trying to time it right and keeping a close watch on the weather. Thanks Scott! 👍🏻😊🤓
@@LivinRVision you’re right, everything on line says they are annuals, but I’ve seen acres and acres bloom every year and not be any where near a road... oh well. Have a good week
