We went to a single rear wheel in 2019 after we wore out a 2016 dually with 450K. I noticed the same thing with it feeling wobbly but got used to it quick. We have the sleeper berth and I noticed a big difference in the ride. I can sleep so much better in the single rear wheel than the dually going down the road. This one is doing great with 465K and going strong. If I saw you changing that seal I would asked if I could help not bothering you with annoying questions. Stay safe out there.
The engine brake a long with the cruise control works great. But with the long steep grade will have those RPM’s pretty high. Like the one going west bound going into Pendleton Oregon. Glad you got a new truck. I hope you enjoy.
Lol that new junk wont last how often to upgrade your phones and computers electronics dont last big hook line and sinker. Old school is best school have 1995 ram 5.9 5 spd get 20 mpg pulling 36 ft avon camper.
Nice truck. I had researched new Super Dutys and had came to the same conclusion as you. The 250 has more "room" if you will, in the capacity respect. From what I've seen from others such as Transport Bandits, the Ford is the better truck. The King Ranch is a beautiful truck. I own a 150 KR. I spec'd a new Lariat. Compared it against a XLT and equally optioned the Lariat was less money. You've got a sweet ride. Good luck and stay safe.
@@TravelinTim I know what you're saying..I had been hot on the job. I looked for used too fit the bill. If I found anything, under the current prices, the dealers were asking as much or more than a new truck. Another cardiac issue has caused me to decide to stay home. I'm 66 and have had 4 cardiac "events". Guess I'll stay here, semi retired and enjoy life.
what's your fuel economy sweet spot on loaded and unloaded MPG. I got a 2019 F 250 XLT. I got lucky and found one with 16,000 miles. I wanted a long bed but I couldn't pass up the basically new 3 year old truck
@@TravelinTim I've noticed that you are big into research. Have you read any negatives on the 2012 6.7 diesel and the super duty. I have found 2 2012 f350's. One being a dually and one being a single rear wheel. Both have right in the area of only 50k. Any input or opinions?

Hi Tim. What is your vehicles actual weight with you and equipment in it. Do you have trouble staying under the 10k gvwr when hauling the larger 5th wheels???
So my Husband is thinking he needs a deleted bed dually to do this. Can he just use his short box crew cab 2021 Ram 2500 6.7 don’t know anymore specific other than it has all the safety techniques already.
