This video is an installation walk through for the RV6 Performance solid front control arm bushing kit designed for the 10th Generation Civic Type R. The Type R in this video had no front suspension modifications, but the process would be similar if modifications from stock were present. The RV6 Performance parts are specific to the Type R, but a kit for non-Type R models is available and would be similarly installed.
More information on the parts installed can be found at RV6 Performance's website linked here:

Could you use lube to help with installing the new bushings?

What kind of grease should we use for the compliance mounts? Would any synthetic grease be sufficient

Any feedback on the spherical bearings? I’m looking to upgrade mine but worried about harshness & noise. Any noticeable difference from stock?

This video is super old and I'm all for DYI. However, I think the $200 bucks or so to pay a machine shop to press these bearings out would be 100% worth the time, effort and damage caused.

Should be way less than that, less then 15 minutes of work for a decent machine shop to complete job but I agree, machine shop would be the way to go

Love the tutorial thank you. Helped me a lot to install my whiteline antiliftkit. I do recommend that removing the top front sway bar end link is easier to retorque back to spec and to preload I also cannot find a better way to torque specs the 127ft lb bolt. I just send it with the Milwaukee impact and the exact swivel socket like yours and torque spec the other bolts and call it a day Each bolt I also added some blue loctite for peace of mind

Question I'm having trouble tightening the castle nut as the ball joint is spinning aswell any advice to solve this?

If the ball joint is spinning it isn’t seated properly. You will have to make sure it is fully pressed into the knuckle.

Hey! Thanks for the vid! 1. In what ways are these better than the Whiteline anti-lift kits? 2. How long would these normally take to install?

Is it just me or are those rotors mounted backwards?

Sorry you are wrong - they are mounted correctly. Check out GiroDisc’s website. Please don’t spread false information. www.girodisc.com/assets/images/pdf/GirodiscBrakeRotorInstallation.pdf

From the video I can see you have the front vented disk on the wrong side the video show you have right side rotor on the left of the vehicle
