Thanks for the video. Just purchased this system for my JLU with the remote breakaway system. Was wondering where to put the breakaway cable on my aftermarket bumper. Decided that the only place is the top of the bumper just like you did. That way it will be out of the way when wheeling.
No prob. I've seen a lot of people mount everything under but if you're gon a wheel there's that possibility of breaking stuff. It's been working for us for over a year now. Thanks for watching!
I installed the Rvi3 break system this week. It was extremely simple to do and works fine. The entire system is very well thought out and made to the highest quality. I love buying products that are made in America by Americans! Nice review, it is that simple!
Great video! I am in process installing everything as you were in the video. Just wondering if the wireless breakaway adapter is still working now over a year later and if you have had any issues with the system keeping everything paired, using the RVI3 brake unit, the hub inside the RV, and command center? Thanks
Everything is still working and we unfortunately had a very real test of the system with a tow bar failure. Our Jeep separated from the RV and luckily our RVi Brake was triggered after the breakaway cable was pulled out. Only issue we have had is the sensors dying off and needing to replace them from RVi.
