I’ve been watching since 2023 of January when we bought our new trailer. I watch loyally my husband started 6 months ago. But I have binged watched all episodes on weekends.

Camping starts to slow down in New England once school starts/after Labor Day. Especially during the week. Campgrounds start to close their pools at that time too. I grew up in the ranch house across from the carriage road and spent a lot of my youth exploring the area around the trail, and even skied down the trail after hiking up.
Looks like you had a great visit to Camden! When we're not in a blazing rush to see these places, we feel more at ease to talk to people, and we meet some really awesome, interesting folks. Just today, I met a 92 year old man who played the trumpet on the Ed Sullivan show! How cool is that?!😁

Went on a schooner weekend back in the 80s. The only meal I truly do not like is corn beef and cabbage. Got on the Schooner and guess what I smelled..... you're right! Still a beautiful experience. At night in our cabin, it was very relaxing to experience the gentle rocking of the schooner.
Awesome to see the Hanks in Camden Harbor where we took a harbor tour this past June. We were fortunate to also see a Moma whale and her calf, in addition to grab a lobster pot with a female loaded with eggs. Great to see you enjoying this area. (let me know when you are heading to Hurricane Utah - another great area!). Safe travels Hanks!
Great video! We just returned from our Maine trip - full fall colors included. We are fortunate that our daughter lives in Camden, so we were able to park in her driveway and borrow her smaller car for side trips. So much to see and do in the area.
Can’t wait til we get our, new to us, little RV on the road and go adventure! Spent this summer upgrading and making it ours, this winter will be planning the new adventures! Thanks guys for the beautiful views! Love your videos!
I know you post weeks later, but I hope you visited Freeport at some point and saw the real-deal L.L.Bean store. Others have said the same, but I hope you also got away from the coast and saw some of the forested interior of the state.
This is a great video. It makes me want to move back to Maine. The Maine rocky coastline is beautiful. It’s so cool you always run into people who also love your videos. We had our last camping trip last weekend. It’s such a bummer. We will be living vicariously through you guys all winter. 😀
I always loved the Mt Battie hike. At 8:20 there is a shot of Camden Harbor. My wife and I got married at the Amphitheater at the head of the harbor. As a local, and a building contractor, there are a LOT of buildings in the area I have either built or worked on. Ah, the nostalgia.... For example, at 13:35, to your right is a lobster restaurant and inn. I had the privilege of doing all the trim work, including the columns, on the 2nd floor. As a matter of fact, you parked right up against the restrooms, and the inn was directly behind that! If you are still in the area, in Rockland is a small cafe called Clan McClarren. I highly recommend lunch there. It is right in the middle of Main Street.
You should have told me you were coming to my house! Lincolnville is just 5 miles north of Camden. I could have given you the deets! Next time let me know!
Carl and Renee sorry I missed your last video when it came out. But did go back and watched it great video. This one was also great loved that y’all showed the boats and the view from the top was beautiful. We have been on the road trip our self we spent a week in the Smoky Mountains the trees are turning and it’s beautiful. Then went down to Chattanooga Tn to see Rock city, Ruby Falls, and did the Incline was beautiful there also this time of the year. So with that stay safe and happy travels.
My wife and I spent a week on a boat like Angelique out of Maryland. Sailed to the Bahamas Islands and back. Fantastic experience. And I learned Celestial Navigation. Book a cruise..during the warmer months.
We camped not that far up the coast from where you were. Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. It was so beautiful and we actually were lucky to get a site that was 20 feet from the edge of the ocean. We loved it so much, we are probably going back next summer, and will probably cross the border into Maine.
