Yang always portrays herself as a protector and she also went through so much to get back into fighting shape both physically and mentally, so while we know Blake only had the best intentions when she said she'd protect Yang, what Yang probably heard was "You need to be protected from Adam because you aren't strong enough."

Fun Facts Fact 1: Neo has begun to evolve her semblance, as shown in the fight. Fact 2: Neo wasn't originally planned to be in this Volume, but was added when the writers thought of what they could do to make Cinder's storyline better. Additionally, they found the idea of Cinder having a partner in Atlas cool. Fact 3: Miles and Kerry explained Yang and Blake's misunderstanding as due to Blake not always getting the nuances of her relationships, hence why she ended up saying the wrong thing to Yang.

I would say the coolest things Torchwick ever did were fighting on par with both Blake and Sun at the same time in the Volume 1 finale and totally rejecting Ruby's big heroic speech moment at the end of Volume 3. I love villains that can actually back up their talk, and even if the kids were younger back then, it was still impressive for Torchwick to keep up with them despite having no Huntsmen training. Hell, he was kind of winning in those fights too with Sun and Ruby being saved by the appearance of Ruby and the Grimm respectively.

Totally agree. Torchwich was a fun villian. He definitely wasn't all talk. He is from an era when adults actually posed a serious threat, both physically and intellectually. The closest character to him now might be Watts. But Torchwich was much more fun on screen.

Dameron is 100% wrong there were straight swords in Japan, mostly from early periods (< Kamakua) they weren't called katana or tachi, but there is one very famous one (it has a name but I can't remember off the top of my head) that is a Japanese national treasure which is considered to be the precursor to the curved swords which came later.

I wouldn't call that 100% wrong. In fact he was mostly right singe you yourself said, that they're not supposed to be Katanas. SO there are no straight Katanas resp. no one wold use one nowadays since it wouldn't be as good. Still it's an interesting fact. I ddn't know about any of this :)

Casey has cosplayed as Neo before. She's also done Weiss because she did the singing that we've seen Wiess do. And CRWBY did a wonderful homage to Casey. They wrote Jaune saying she has a voice of an angel or something along those lines.

I mean when you compare that to "shot in the heart and disintegrated" and "cut literally in half while the camera shows the light in her eyes going out" like the other redhead deaths in V3, it's not that bad. Torchwick somehow survived being in the front car of a train wreck that knocked out a shielded Team RWBY (with full auras) while unconscious, the airship crash doesn't seem that much worse than that. Frankly, I'm not convinced until I see a body.

This stretch of episodes on the farm is by far the most unnerving and terrifying thing RoosterTeeth has ever done. I may question plenty of what they do in this show, but let it never be said that those guys can't do scary 😨

Always a blast to see Cinder and Neo. Even better when they're working together like they used to in Volumes 2-3. I love that Cinder (via her stormy display of her Maiden powers) is literally "The Coming Storm."

I think Suraj should be the new replacement voice for Qrow. His original voice actor, Vic Mignogna, got fired between Volumes 6 and 7 due to some shady treatment of minors at conventions. His replacement, Jason Liebrecht, doesn't sound quite the same, unfortunately. But Suraj's Qrow is spot-on.

Lol, some shady treatment? Where's the proof for that? A lot of the claims were proven false. The lady and husband that were fighting against him were also shown to be dishonest and shady. The whole Vic situation was dishonest treatment to him and embarassingly held any actual proof.

I talked to Jason Liebrecht at Delta H Con this past summer and he stated that when he auditioned he was trying to do a near perfect voice match and feels he nailed it....But when Miles & Kerry cast him, they explained that Qrow is a changed man and they wanted him to modify the voice a little to reflect that, so that's what Jason did.

Btw Neo is the same girl that beat up Yang on the train, She fought cinder because she blamed her for Roman dying in the fight against Ruby because she wasn’t there to see what happened so Cinder is using this to her advantage to make Neo side with her.

Lmao, I didn't even know Casey recorded any Neo audio for BlazBlue, since I've never played it. However, I did know that (at least from what I'd heard) Casey was also the one who's voice recorded Neo's one single gasp from the V3 episode when Ruby opened her Parasol & sent her flying off the ship Mary Poppins style 😂😂

25:12 I saw a video (by a channel called Shadiversity if you're curious) that disagrees with that a bit. According to him, a katana's curve isn't exactly intentional but the forging process causes the shape. And that it's curve only adds a miniscule amount to it's cutting compared to if it were straight.

In case no one else said this for y’all (the Normies): The reason Neo is so pissed is because Roman never came back. She flew off because of Ruby and no one but Ruby actually saw what happened to him. Neo assumed they killed him because the plan failed but now Cinder has placed blame on Ruby so she can use Neo now that she’s lost her team and credibility with Salem.

Just a note about your initial conversation. Marvel and DC dont own thor or greek stuff, just iterations. I think its more they dont want to be confused with each other so they dont tend to use stuff as much. Marvel has a very active Hercules comic at times and i feel like that will eventually be a movie character but who knows when.

I'm honestly surprised that a lot of people in the RWBY fandom aren't talking about the theory that Torchwick and Neo were the 2 children in the family photo. When I saw the name of the place plus orange haired kid I couldn't help but try to make the connection. Obvi "Torchwick" may be an alias for his actual name "Burnswick" (cause torches burn lol) and the little girl looks similar to an aged-down Neo (excluding the split pink hair and her heterochromia) Of course this is all speculation and I'm not sure if its been confirmed or debunked, but the evidence is there.

if you want your greek gods "hercules the legendary journeys", "xena: warrior princess" and "young hercules" exist, you know. 90s shows had lots of fun with action fantasies set in vaguely ancient alternative greece.

Lol DC doesn't own Greek Mythology or the characters within it. I don't have a show recommendation but if you do any reading then you could check out Rick Riordan's series based on Greek/Roman, Norse, and Egyptian mythology that all technically exist in the same world. You would start with the Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Greek) series then the Kane Chronicles (Egyptian), Heroes of Olympus (Greek/Roman), Magnus Chase and the gods of Asgard (Norse), and finally The Trials of Apollo (Greek/Roman) and there are chronological orders you can look up to really fine tune the order if desired. They are aimed at a teen/young adult audience (they are just as mature if not more than RWBY for example) but are enjoyable regardless and will teach you a lot about each of those mythologies. Frankly when I think of those mythologies I think of those series first. Oh and there are a couple of movies based on the Percy Jackson series but they are better off ignored tbh.
