RWBY AMV: "American Pie" 

This AMV makes me cry. Intermingling the tragedy and low points of RWBY, from the loss of Yang's arm, the unstated love between Blake and Yang, Ruby's innocence being tested, Weiss's imprisonment, Raven's desperate tragedy of knowing the secrets and trying to hide from Salem all make a tragic Greek Opera. And yet it all dissipates when RWBY overcomes one obstacle after another and resurgence to prevail. Beautiful and wonderful. I even think Monty's ghost would approve.

Weird Al, get out of my head for a moment, I'm trying to listen to this version of the song with the AMV. Great job, love your work.

I would never have expected an AMV of this song to anything, to be honest. I'm so glad a friend of mine showed it to me though, it was excellent and easily one of the best AMVs I've ever seen

The timing is on POINT. In particular I love the color change and perfect timing of widow/Pyrrha. So good.

I have to give thus kindly she scatters credit, she uses such varied music but still makes her amv go perfect with them. Like I dont know of any other creator who uses led zeppelin, bo Burnham, and songs from legally blonde the musical, but also uses them perfectly.

Such an old song gave me an awesome nostalgia trip. Thank you for helping to keep it alive.

I didn't think that a touchstone song about this window of time in one country could really work as an AMV for... well anything, but ESPECIALLY not RWBY. But Arc 2 (especially Volumes 4 and 5) are actually what work the very best for the subject, with the people of a generation stranded from each other and trying to work out their own issues, while getting caught up/indoctrinated in other people's teachings. It's also helped by you using the very very end of V3 as the 'prologue' of sorts. Even if Volume 6 doesn't have enough dour bits to actually fill out the rest, and forcing you back to the well of Volume 3.
