RWBY AMV: "If the Book Doesn't Sell" 

So this entire AMV is amazing, but the middle section (1:39 - 2:56) with Oz, Salem, and the gods just about blew me away, particularly showing Oz in the aftermath of Salem being revealed at "He swears that it's not what it looks like", showing Atlas, Beacon, and their castle as false gods at "Hell has frozen over, Heaven burned down to the ground" and Ozma and his reincarnations at "you have only got one life", the showing of Salem and then the gods at "We won't be there when you die", and Ironwood's final descent into madness at "A prayer that goes unheard."

What an interesting choice. At first, I found the distorted voice very difficult to understand, but a couple rewatches cleared that up. I am always glad to see AMV's that focus on Ozcar and his plight and what an interesting song to choose to do so with. So many themes touched on, while also providing small windows into other characters like Summer ("There has never been a dreamer that prefers reality.), Ruby (The war for truth is raging on", "it is hopeless sacrifice", "Let me map out my own way!"), and Ironwood (As noted by others, "What good is a prayer that goes unheard?", "I am no savior, but I give them what they need") in more thoughtful ways than the obvious aspects of these charcters.

Fuck me!!! The lyrics and the layers, focusing on oz(car) and Salem as the protagonist of why every suffering!!, a constant domino affect, with them being center of the storm pulling everyone good and bad people. The sacrifice, betrayel, and death, all because of two naive lovers later to be enemy having the most terrifying couple arguments known to all marriage! Another rollercoaster masterpiece, damn your good 🥲🥲😤

The song and video are both so beautiful. I really admire the precision in your editing 💕

I loved the focus on the character's emotions and expressions. That's something the show has gotten really good at depicting and isn't appreciated as much as it should be.

This. Is. AWESOME. Idk how you’ve manages to do it, but the tone of the song works well with the clips and the overall scenarios of volume 7 and 8. It makes it so much more thrilling 🤩
