This is why Ruby is my favourite character even the time seems desperate and she have negative thoughts. She always found the strengh to move on

In some ways I can really relate to Ruby, it's sad to see how her innocence and positivity has been lost as time goes on. Hopefully she'll figure out how to keep her teammates from giving up. But thank you for another great AMV!

she really has been through a lot and to think she's was 15 when she started at beacon 17 now. so much has been put on her shoulders though as a leader. She's lost quite a bit too, and as the one who keep s being positive, who keeps getting up and trying to "keep moving forward." I've admired her strength, and connected with her pain that she's mostly been keeping hidden. it does seam like she's headed for a moment of her own breakdown because so far she's pretty much been the only one sort of keeping things together, and as leader she hasn't gotten to turn to someone else and be the week one. She is so young, and positive, even in the face of all this. that is her thing one of many that has made her very special, she may be headed for a breakdown but i do believe shell come out all the stronger they all will as much as it hurts, maybe she won't have to be quite so alone, and carry quite so much of the burden afterwards.

Honestly, the fact that Ruby has been holding on for so long, I think that is her development. In my opinion, she isn’t letting anything try to get to her because she refuses it to, not because she needs to be a leader or because the world is at stake, but because that is her character. Monty Oum used to say “Keep Moving Foward”, and I think he made Ruby to be the epitome of that. So while some believe that Ruby hasn’t been given development, I say she’s been getting it the entire time. And we’ve been seeing. It’s just been hiding in plain sight.

This makes me cry so much

Watching this makes me want to hug Ruby even more.

The worst part about this is the transition from child to adult, and in her mid to late teens, Ruby has seen and lost much more than any of the other characters. We can see that has her innocence slowly disappear, the first case is when she cuts the nut-job scorpion faunas' tail off just after he slashes Qrow. And since,she has slowly become darker

Considering I recently had to have my dog put down, you have no idea how much this song has helped me. Thank you for making this AMV, it is absolutely wonderful and easily one of my favorites you've made. P.S. love when it was saying "let it go" you had Ruby going off on Grimm. Nice touch that didn't go unnoticed.

In the next few episodes Ruby probably will have a mental breakdown. As we have seen she doesn’t really talk to the others about how she’s feeling. She usually gets them to talk to her about it. The other day on RWBY Amino I read an article about her grief they brought up the fact that Yang doesn’t think Ruby understood about her mother, but in the Red Like Roses manga we saw her breaking down sobbing at her mothers grave, probably keeping it in. She’s been so much and she has so many emotions built up inside her that she has to break soon and with the recent events it has to be this season. It will hurt to watch but it will have great character development.
