+Robert Holmes It's not about the neural implant, it's about the whole augmentation. Technically, MJOLNIR project was a failure as people who tried to use the exosuit got their bones broken just by moving as the mimicing response from the suit was too strong and then even more broken by twitching in agony till they died. However, while normal humans were too frail to use MJOLNIR, spartans were not. Their bones and tissues were heavily modified, making the former practically indestructible (before the contact with such beings as Covenant Brutes with their gravity hammers, of course) and the latter - highly flexible and very durable. Thus, what was a failure at making an all-military and emergency exosuit became a perfect choice of equipment for spartans, providing them good protection and making them even deadlier. However, in general you are right: Jaune's getting literally broken by the armor is just a matter of time (I mean, aura should protect him for some time... right?).

+Alex Chow it's a common mistake: the fact that MJOLNIR weighs from half a ton to 800 kilos (depending on the model and the modification) does not mean that the operator carries this weight on him/her-self. The armor supports itself, so the operator feels no weight as he carries little to none. The system just analyses the movements of the operator inside the suit and mimics them. It's pretty much like the Astartes power armor from Warhammer 40 000.

I'd stick to Lancaster if I were you. Oscar hasn't even meat Ruby and even if he were to do so he would still have Ozpin inside his head and that would make things pretty awkward. Ozpin is a fully grown adult somewhere between his late 20s to early 40s at the very least.If Ozpin has been around for any where near as long as he has been implied to be than Rose garden would technically be pedophilia. If the things Ozpin said (or implied) about his reincarnation deal are true then both Ozpins and Oscars consciousness will eventually become one entity Meaning that Oscar will essentially become a several centuries old magician/god thing. I don't know about anyone else but I don't find the idea of dating someone that has the personality memories of one of my past teachers t particularly appealing or romantic.

In technical terms it will probably be more of him fading into Oscars subconscious, Oscar will still be the same except he'll probably have more knowledge, and Oscar isn't actually that old, he only has an old man in his head, as for them not meeting it will probably happen next volume,

When someone suddenly has their memories fused with somebody else's then issues are bound to occur. This phenomenon often cause someone to experience what's called an identity crisis. In some cases this can result in serious mental trauma and even insanity in other cases.Assassin's Creed illustrated this event very accurately as the character known as "subject 16" was exposed to his ancestors memories so much that they created conflict within his own memories and caused his to commit suicide. While Oscar's identity crisis was short lived he was permanently affected by it because he has memories of events and information that he shouldn't know about. Also DBZ has an instance of an occurrence nearly identical to the one Oscar is experiencing. A character named Piccolo is an alien who fused with two other people from the same race as him. Piccolo used a technique called assimilation in order to make himself more powerful. Each time this happened Piccolo experienced alterations to his memories and demeanor afterwards. Piccolo not only gained a significant boost in his abilities but absorbed the memories of both of the people he assimilated into his being. Not only that but the evil originally present in Piccolo's mind was uprooted in both cases. Even if Oscar remains the same on the outside it's only superficial. There is no way Oscar will go through having Ozpin's mind and memories assimilated into himself and not experience a permanent change to his personality and mannerisms. I really don't think that Ruby will meet Oscar and not recognize some of Ozpins traits present in him.

You make a good point, but I'd not really use piccolo as that big of an example, though he did change in the way he had more caring and compassion, I don't really think he changed TOO MUCH in the eyes of others. But neither of us can say for sure what will happen sense neither of us are on the rooster teeth staff, but we also have to factor in how Ruby would see it, either A. She accepts the fact Oscar is technically a reincarnation or B she starts liking Oscar better that way well if the ship were to happen, also here is my own example, the avatars from the last airbender and legend of korra are all avatars, they all have access to the memories and skills of the previous avatar but it not really changing there characters after, they might change in the avatar state but they are still the same, but we don't know if that's how Oscars will be

Fair enough. I don't know a whole lot about the Avatar series due to my never being able to keep up with it but I have some notion about their reincarnation deal. Unlike the Avatars Oscar wasn't really born as a reincarnation of a figure of great power. As far as I can tell Oscar and Ozpins fusing together was a relatively recent event. I have a hard time believing that Oscar's "awakening" will be devoid of complications. While the details are unclear I'm certain that Oscars transition into "The great and powerful Oz" may not be completely smooth. This is due to a lack of huntsmen training/conditioning on Oscars end. Who knows what the next volume has in store? For as we fans know Oscar may not even be interested in finding romance at this point in time . His actions and demeanor seems to imply that Oscar could be potentially younger than Ruby (as in possibly 13 to 15) meaning that he could be even less emotionally developed than Ruby herself. Who knows anymore? The only thing anyone can do right now is wait and see how it all plays out.
