Vengeance lead by a good heart torn by grief and consumed by rage is not revenge. It is simply something that seeks to end the suffering of others. It is simply a pure soul wishing to ensure that others do not feel the pain that it feels. To quote the doctor "Demon’s Run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies. Night will fall and the dark will rise when a good man goes to war. Demons run, but count the cost; the battle’s won but the child is lost." A good soul is able to see the world in ways the rest of us can never see. They see the good in all others even when we can no longer see the good within ourselves. No matter how old they are they see the world from a child's perspective. Such amazing wonder in all things both large and small. Juan is a good man now consumed by sorrow and rage. Just like any other good man who loses someone important to them. Demons run in fear because of a good man dedicated to destroying the evil that has made them and others suffer. They will lose more friends along the way. Those that stand by their side in their dedication to their goals and those that will fall simply because they were a friend to such a good person. Night will fall because a good soul has walked into the shadows to face the evil that dwells there. They embrace the true embodiment of a hero. Someone who walks into the very pits of hell not because they are unafraid but because they do not fear the blood that will stain their hands. They have the resolve to embrace the evil they must become to end the suffering of others. Revenge is to seek to make the person hurt you and make them suffer as if that will bring an end to your suffering and hurt. It will not all it will do is take on a new pain a new hurt. Vengeance is walking into hell knowing you will become a monster with blood-stained hands but willing to sacrifice everything to stop someone else from hurting and being alone.even if they have to sacrifice their humanity in order to win. That is vengeance wrought at the hands of a good soul. Vengeance is not about finding peace or happiness and that good soul will suffer oh how they will suffer. But they will happily do so even if they are forever alone haunted by the memories of friends and loved ones who have fallen along that path. their only peace is when they see another living their life untouched and unmarred by the evil that so touched their own. Vengeance is an act of self-sacrifice for those who they will never know. and act that no one will know about. An act done in the dark away from the light of day. Would you be able to see the scars on such a good person could you understand the sacrifice that they have made for you? Could you stand where they do and face what they have faced? Could you make that choice?
You know this video made me realize something. Jaune is really interesting in terms of identity. He desired to be a hero. He has a knight aesthetic but honestly postseason 3 he is neither of these things mentally. A knight protects. A hero saves. A soldier endures, and lately it seems that is what he has become someone who tries to endure.
Thats one thing i really love about RWBY in the beginning they are children but as the show goes on they grow into adults through suffering and the pain they have to endure with the only thing keeping each other from falling down is each other. This is one of the best shows i have ever seen yet it is so unknown to many and a lot of people are turned off by the animation, but i admit in the beginning i didnt expect much out of this show then season 3 happened and i was both sad and excited.
I want to point something out. Jaune fought toe to toe with Cinder, a maiden, and didn’t give an inch and very nearly laid a killing blow, something that is very hard to accomplish. In the beginning he had a hard time fighting a single Ursa. This is why I love him. He has progressed so much and he will continue to.
TheGeekyKoalaCinder was just toying with him though.. She could have killed em easily. Don't get me wrong he is my fave character but the gap between him and Cinder is too big but hopefully that'll change.
ilovebarney andcrack Nearly isn't good enough.. He could have ended it right there and then if he sliced also his aim was like sooo off °^° but ig they did it because they wanna continue the fight somewhere else also when Cinder falls (Pun intended) when her mask comes off if you look closely you can see the cut he made which is pretty cool
Batuza _Legend true though that part was a let down like I was expecting cinder to scar his face in revenge like burning or slicing an eye made me very sad he got out pretty much completely unscathed
Men i love Jaune but like someone else said Cinder was just playing with him. Remember the fight she had with Raven there's no way he can keep up with that. But it does make wonder how it would have ended if Cinder didn't have the maiden powers...
Jaune represents the entire fandom in my opinion. Its through Jaune that we learn about the world of remnant and it is through Jaune that we grow as he grows. That's why he's such a well liked character.
Blake Bridges Jaune is a whiny little bitch. He's my favorite character and I'm so tired of watching him get shitted on in every single season. It made sense in season 1 but it's been 5 seasons and he's still a whiny little bitch with zero fighting skills. Just kill him and be done with it.
@Alexander Sheffield (Late comment I know but I don't care) Love how you say he's your favorite character and yet you wish for him to be killed off. That's a bit dumb, you say he's just a whiney bitch well how would it feel to have the need of becoming a fighter is your destiny since your entire family background consists of war heros and huntsman. Not mention, he has lost someone very dear to him and refuses for it to happen again which is why it's shown for Juane to put everyone above himself. Admit it, Juane has way more development then Ruby, Blake, and Yang combined. The one that's a whiney bitch is Blake. She always runs when the situation is agaisnt her, she ran when her team found out she was a fuanus, she ran from her parents, she ran from the White Fang, she ran from Adam, she ran from team RWBY after the defeat at Beacon Acadamy and she ran from Yang when she lost her arm. You do know Juane has improved amazingly well since when we first saw him he couldn't even defend himself and recently he's been a major help to Ren and Nora helping in killing the Grim that destroyed their village. Not to mention Juane has proved to be a great leader and strategist. Without him the fights during the tournament wouldn't have have as smoothly as they been. The only thing that needs to be killed off is your comment and it's lack of good spelling.
@@__mindflayer__ Pretty sure running away from situations doesn't make Blake whiny, it makes her a coward, which I still feel doesn't exactly apply to her fully.
DeonteDoesStuff! Firestone Blake literally left a friend who lost an arm for her. She saved her and refused to see her after her injuries, A friend who leaves another after they almost died for you is 100% cowardice. Imagine, you risk your life to save a close friend and it costs you an arm. After that happens you wake up to realize your friend left you to run back to her home which is across the world and almost was ready to completely leave and forget about everything you did together and for one another. Just because she didn’t feel like going through the emotional trouble when you are left with not just emotional pain but also physical. The argument of saying that is not cowardly doesn’t work. Plus it does make her whiny cause she cares for herself more than anyone else.
Thank you for the kind words! I wanted to show how as the series progressed, he has become a better leader, and person. One thing I love about him is he has gone through more changes then most of the characters. If you look at volume 1 his armor looked to big for him and he filled into it as he trained more. Also his outlook at life has changed.
Fang Whiteclaw well I mean he’s lost the love of his life and his hero. Even though he’s with his friends, he’s still lost without her and is trying to find a way to keep moving forward as Monty would say. From all that happened in the show, is what turned him from a youthful optimist, to a stone cold (not “killer”) but warrior and a badass one at that
I mean...he's still vomit boy... Not to be negative or insulting but without that part of him, you wouldn't be able to see and appreciate his progress.
I love the fact that when he saw an opening he went for the kill instead of telling her to surrender like most of the heroes would he just went to stab her in the face, and actually made a cut on her some thing that trough out the whole series we don't see her being wounded on screen like that and she got so pissed of at that. And yes i know that Ruby did take her eye at volume 3 but that was off screen and was more or less due to the Grimm inside of her i think which she used to steal the maiden powers in the first place, so Jaune who is neither a maiden or silver eyed hunter hurting her even a little bit wounded her pride a lot and personal i think alot of people down play him doesn't give him the credit he deserves. I mean for some one to start out where he did compared to the rest which is like him starting a race 4 miles behind the actual starting point of a race and to be able to come as far has he did in a little over an year speaks a lot about his growth and potential. Wow i went on a tangent didn't I , Well any way love this video and i think it truly captures Jaune as he is and the only other song i can imagine being better will be Whatever It Takes by Imagine Dragon.
this is why i see him as a sentinel . he has a sense of undisputed justice. alittle hate aswell) yet he shows signs of becoming a shield of undisputed power. speak softly and carry a big stick
He has the potential to be Ruby's equal. Most of them were trained in peacetime where Jaune used what little technique Pyrrha taught him and forged his own style under trial by fire and simple experience in the wild. My old sensei in Karate used to preach that for those who trained in peacetime are no match for those who forged their skill in battle.
I can’t really call Jaune swinging his sword at a temporarily incapacitated maiden’s face and barely hitting her even though she wasn’t moving a win for him. Pathetic if anything?
Obi-Wan Kenobi How cool would it be if he became the most skilled, and as some kind of proving his worth story, he became the new headmaster of a new school made in place of beacon
I honestly thing jaune will be the last one standing at the end of the series. Yang who is aurguably the strongest in terms of raw power was down and out for a long time after loosing her arm. Now take jaune just an ordinary human by comparison, lost the person he cared for most, survived the fall of beacon, and fought a maiden. He simply got up every time. I think that determination will be why he outlived the rest, he just wont fall over and quite
gonga_woo, that’s true. But Jaune was incapacitated during the critical moments of the fall of Beacon. He did not lose an arm. He did lose a partner. He watched his comrades fall from afar. Yang had a different struggle. Fought a psychopath, lost a permanent part of her, was abandoned by Blake without as much a word afterward. And I don’t think having depression or PTSD makes someone weak. That’s also a brave struggle and fight to heal that I personally think makes them stronger. Jaune continued to be surrounded by his peers as he dealt with his. Yang had her father and she began to retrain her entire berserker style to become a more balanced warrior and I saw the fruits of that. The entire of RWBY may low-key be Jaune’s arc, pun intended. But I still need to see more of him.
ever since Pyrrha died, jaune has gotten some REAL character development. he saved a life, landed a real physical hit on cinder, not silver eyes, not maiden powers. he put others lives before his own, he did it all so nobody else would die. he wanted to protect his team and he tried to be a great leader. to be honest, i wanted jaune to have his own character short. i hope it happens for volume 7 or 8!
he scratched her mask while he was stumbling in a fight that wasn't even a fight cause cinder toyed with him as you can see in the end fight with raven
Team CYBR Reactions Honestly I found that fight kinda silly. I mean it just looks so strange for Cinder to be blocking a two handed long sword. With a one handed short sword! 😅
@@ilikeants6549 It is 100% possible to deflect a two handed sword with a one handed sword. It happens all the time. Even more so when there's a significant skill difference, but even between two skilled fighters. I do swordfighting twice a week, so I'm not just talking out my ass here.
Team CYBR Reactions It's not the problem that she deflected the blade. That's completely feasible I know that. It's just that she straight went into a sword lock, using a 1h sword into someone using their whole body weight swinging a 2h sword. And didn't budge an inch, like at all! 😅 Honestly might be the graphics on my end, but cinder always looked like she was in a completely rigid posture, (Standing perfectly upright). While with Jaune they animated him with so much bending in his back. Like he's using a ton of body weight, just looked kinda funny for me!
After Pyrrha's death, Jaune seems to lose many things inside. Although he looked fine when he stay with his other friends, he thinks of Pyrrha every night and blames himself.
Okay so this comment got me thinking about something I learned about awhile ago called the "Sin Eater". The basic idea is that there is a man who lives close to a village that visits whever someone dies. What he would do is visit the dead body before it was buried and then he would take that person's sins from them so they could live happily in the afterlife. But in doing so he is taking on the pain and burden of those sins so others don't have to, and for some reason Jaune reminds me of a Sin Eater.
@@Groog01 was that story a metaphor for Jesus? Think I've heard this before. Or maybe it was a book called "the last sin eater" which drew a correlation between that story (tradition?) and Jesus to make it relevant to that culture.
Did ya'll notice that jaunes swing was so strong that the shock wave from cinder stopping it shook the chain that was easily 10 feet away. Jaune is by no means weak. Cinder has the power of a maiden and the grim and jaune nearly took her out. Jaune arc you sir are a hardass.
@@Comrade_C 3:10 That is most certainly a look of pure shock, and that was clearly an aimed attack by Jaune, if Cinder had been a second slower she would have been dead.
Honestly I find Jaune to be underrated. He started with no training and grew to be on almost equal footing with the average hunter-in-training, that had actually fully attended a combat school, in just a few months. Championship fighter for a teacher or not, that's astounding. You could be the greatest teacher in the world and not hope to ever have such results from a student. That's literally prodigal. But that's not the most impressive part. Without a doubt The Fall of Beacon was hardest on him. He lost everything, just when things were looking up for him. He was starting to improve in his classes and combat, he was no longer being bullied, he had moved on from Weiss and was beginning to recognize his feelings for Pyrrha, and he had a close circle of trustworthy friends. Then suddenly he loses his friends, the girl he loves confesses to him before going off to die pointlessly and his world crumbles around him, all while he is powerless to stop it. Yang may have lost her arm but, she just gave up. There is never an excuse to give up. Jaune lost part of his soul. Part of him died with Pyrrha. But he doesn't mindlessly throw himself into training to become stronger. He actually thinks and uses logic and reason. And he doesn't just give up. He keeps positive and wears a smile he doesn't truly feel just for his friends. And it takes the person who ruined his life and killed the one he lived appearing before him and flaunting it like it was some kind of prize for him to finally snap, and even then not fully. All of this is added onto the fact he has large aura reserves and an amplification semblance. His semblance just brings more potential. He is the tank-healer, but is that all? His semblance is amplification but could he push its limits and discover other abilities born of it? Can he use the amplification to improve someones reflexes? Can he amplify other's semblances? Could he find a way to reverse it and suppress other's aura? He could be a walking stat buff for his allies and a nullifier for his enemies. His potential is astounding! Plus he is relatable.
Josh Doll it could be self improve too. The amplification. Use it on his own aura and force it to regenerate faster than he loses it to make his aura stronger as well as his semblance continuously feeding into it
The hero Remnant needs. A soldier that has endured, who has suffered, and yet stands up each time he’s knocked down and continues forward. The world and everyone in it stood against him, believing he could amount to nothing, not even his parents believed in him. One girl believed in him, and she gave him her love, and he lost her. He’s the only one to physically harm the Fall Witch without the use of magic or silver eyes, and he wounded her pride doing so. His semblance Shine gives him the incredible power to protect and augment others. This is why he is the Arc Knight.
He was weak, he was reckless, he was no one, just a Soldier. But now he's strong, he's wise, he's the one of the heroes that saves lifes, He's a Leader, a Warrior... And a Lover. Pyrrha would be proud of you, Jaune Arc.
This. This is why Jaune is my favorite character. I dont care that people think he is just Miles self insert or that they say he is useless. This amv highlights Jaune's journey and his potential. Out of all the characters in RWBY so far, Jaune is the only one going through a Hero's Journey and with his semblance finally unlocked, his potential for greatness is limitless..
they should make a side story for Juane, this makes me feel like there's more to him then what shows, his bloodline comes from strong warriors n he was the only boy in his family that couldnt do much, the writers could use that for a 1 or 2 episode story
I feel as if Jaune doesn't get the respect he deserves, he's not treated as well as the main 4, Personally since they've left the school i think the 7 should all be a bit more equal in terms of character building and screen time.
Cunt Virus they still use him as a weakling who's the butt of every joke and it's played out. Monty wanted him to be something epic but with his passing the people writing now don't give two shits about Jaune.
Alexander Sheffield Exactly! I respect the crap out of Miles Luna but he needs to wake up and look at the potential marvels he has right in front of him to make RWBY great and the show it should be.
None of team JNPR is getting thru this series alive. Pyrha was shot thru the ankle, and killed, like her model, Achilles. Joan of Arc (Jeaune) was burned at the stake, Thor (Nora) is killed during Ragnarock by the Midgard Serpent, and Mulan (Ren) commits suicide after the death of her lover. They are all doomed, most likely during the season finale, so not for a good long while, but it's coming.
Wonderful and emotional AMV, and I love how you include dialogue in the background with the music. Makes it much more impacting. Jaune has by far the best character development. He went from a dependant, clumsy and awkward goof who constantly hits on pretty ladies, to a mature, cynical, and serious leader who is willing to risk his life to save his friends. He's brave, noble, and has changed massively throughout the series. Jaune has seen people die, including his girlfriend. He knows the hardships of war and battle, and as a result he's done and tired of losing people he cares about, so he does everything in his power to improve so he can save his friends. He's had such amazing character development throughout the series, and we know deep down he's a good hearted person who will do anything to keep his friends safe. His amazing personality combined with his development, courage, and determination, is what makes him my absolute favorite character in the series. Say what you want about him, but i hope to see him grow even stronger throughout the series. The fact that he was able to hold his own against Cinder well enough to buy time shows just how far he's really come. #TeamJauneRepresent
@@exclusive-The_Prodigious_One Blake's good but I honestly prefer either Qrow cause of his shift from funny drunk badass to caring father figure, just hope he gets some good fights in volume 9
It's stuff like this that makes us forget that Jaune is not the main character of this show. I mean, we kinda wish he was, but he's not, that would be Ruby.
Darkness: 'Oh warrior of light, let us hear the screams of your loved one, let us watch your will burn the world in her name!.... Be the Hero and stay long enough to be our Villain!.... Muahaha...'
This really fits him. A soldier that will keep fighting no matter what. Who keep on going saying, "screw the impossible feats", and tires to surpass it.
I honestly pity Cinder. she made the classic villain mistake: leave the man whose friends you killed alive. when he catches her, he's gonna unleash hell... Great AMV, man! Juane is best character. (yeah, I'm an Arkos fan, lemme be...)
Matt Carner Let me tell you an old saying, fear not the man who wears his rage on his sleeve and grimace on his face, fear the man that smiles and laughs while a storm rages in his heart. Jaune’s gonna unleash hells fury, and it’s gonna be epic.
Dr. M Hyde Dang I’m shook especially remembering the season 4 fight with her Wait.. isn’t relic of destruction a sword, don’t let our boy find that sword like h said Hyde it’s about to go down
Pyrrah had a point when saying he had a lot of Aura Oz was right in saying that he was special Jaune’s Destiny is to become a Hero of Remnant by being The Knight He will defeat Cinder and be there at the final fight against Salem being a tough adversary He’s also the Big Brother Figure to Oscar A Soldier that carries his duties on to the end of time Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk
Ridiculous that he isn't the main character, honestly. His story is fundamentally the strongest (in terms of story). The epitome of the Hero's Journey, with an actual reason to fight Salem.
Jaune in my eyes basically represents a Phoenix. After Pyrrha’s death he kinda just shut down for awhile. But after some time he rose from the ashes and nearly killed Cinder...let that sink in. CINDER! THE FALL FUCKING MAIDEN!
I think something the show is telling us through Jaunes interactions? Is that Jaune isn't "The Hero" He is The Soldier. The one that will do everything he can to keep those near him safe. The one who will always show them they have someone to go home to. No acts of valor or heroic deeds. Just doing what needs to be done. He sees that not everyone is redeemable. And he is vengeful. And that is why Jaune is one of my favorite Characters. He's just human, Ohhh but he will no go down without a very good fight.
I feel that when it comes down to it. Jaune will impress us. He may of been trying against cinder, but when it actually comes down to life vs death he will end up the survivor
I think honestly Jaune has a powerful semblances because of his aura amplification and he could if possible amplify his other skills such as speed, aura shield, maybe even striking power. Jaune deserves a moment to shine
This song fits especially since Jaune is the Cloud Strife of RWBY and Pyrrha was both his Aerith and Tifa. Like Tifa, Pyrrha understood Jaune more than anyone and she was his motivation to become stronger. Like Aerith, Pyrrha died tragically in the most iconic moment in the series. She was also his Zack Fair, like Zack she inspired him and believed in him. Even in death she encourages him just like Zack did in Advent Children. Jaune has survivor's guilt just like Cloud too.
Just now realized the added taunt that when cinder tries to kill Weiss to torment Jaune, she uses a facsimile of Pyrrahs main weapon: a spear. It even has a similar shape. He’s right, she’s broken inside, cause that is some fucked up shit.
Jaune I think he’s the true hero of this story team rwby may be the main characters but not every main character is the hero of the story it’s sometimes a side character and plus Pyrrha’s death him faking his transcripts and the unknown reason why Tyrian is interested in Jaune he’s going to be a good man he’s a prince waiting for his moment in the sun to become king he will play a major role in the final battle he won’t be the one to kill Salem no Jaune is going to do something different so this knight will be having his moment in the sun soon
Warge Geson a lot of people say he has a resemblance to tyrians queen way before she got grim queen upgrade maybe he sees that by the eye color or something but I agree with you
I just realized I watched this and a video where it's a felix amv, in which the song used in that was mercenary... and both jaune and felix are both voiced by the same man. Ironic, isn't it? One's a Mercenary with a sense of survival, no honor, and a skewed moral compass, the other's a soldier with honor, a straight moral compass, and a sense of kindness.
...man, even years later that line about Pyrrha forming connections that'll last the rest of her life then cutting immediately to Cinder executing her still hits like a goddamn hammer. Well done.
Second to Qrow (obviously) Jaune is the best male character, and he truly is a soldier. He was trained by the best and only continued to become better after Pyrrha's death. He's seen his friends and his true love die and been lied to, fighting a war that seems unwinable but he still fights for those who are beside him. A warrior to the bone
can we all just aknowledge that with zero training jaune self taught civilian went toe to toe with a a Ursa Major. That like any of us going against a bear, but its bigger, meaner and armored! plus pyrrha used polarity on the shield not his sword so he had enough strength to cut a thick armored neck in one hit.
She used the polarity on his shield so that he was able to parry if she hadn't done it he would be dead it doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't act faster or parry your enemies attack you are doomed
@@Comrade_C 1. Auras a thing and Jaune already tanked one-hit from it fine so no he wouldn't be dead 2. My point wasn't that it's that he was physically strong enough to cut off a bear's head... But well whatever I just stumbled back on this video and saw this response, guess you forgot about aura no big deal though...
I feel like Jaune is going to become the Arthur of RWBY. He's going to be super influential and Ozpin is like Merlin. It makes even more sense if he is descended from the King of Vale.
Show of hands: who here thinks he's going to Surpass Pyhrra and team RWBY by the end of the series? Also who else wants to see him have a rematch with Cardin?
You know this the reason why Jaune should have be the main protagonist in show. I’m not completely against ruby and others, it just that they already received their train early in the story cause them to be super human in the first place. Jaune on the other hand, work his ass off to reach their lvl of train they been through early in their lives, and managed to reached it in under a year. That’s proof that he have massive potential for the story in first place.
Can we just take a moment and realize how actually fucking strong he is? he held up a fucking nuckleweave for christ sake, that's gotta be close to 2,000 lb's of force, along with the fact that it's also pressing down on him!
i feel that in the final season, there will be a battle of armies..and Jaune will be at the helm. the four girls will be fighting Salem, and on the ground there will be a war between huntsman, huntresses and grimm. And when everyone else falls, Jaune will stand. this is what his character defines; when everyone else gives up, when they all fall, Jaune gets back up.
Can agree with the title. Soldiers endure, make hard choices, attempt to better themselves for others, sacrifice what they can and never yield to evil. He is the perfect character in that.
To be entirely honest, Jaune has probably my favorite character development in the series, he goes from a frankly pretty childish and annoying character to a true leader and a well-rounded, interesting character. One thing that always persists, though, is his determination. From being so determined to be a hero to being determined to keep everyone alive and save the world from Salem and her darkness, his greatest strength is his persistence and his determination, his willingness to go on, no matter how hard, no matter how difficult the odds are.
I like to think that there are some characters who aren’t defined by a word but, define THE word, like if you need an example of the word you go to that character. Jaune is one of those characters and he defines selflessness. Simply look at some of his best moments can you find that he risks life, and dignity for someone else even if it’s somebody he hates. I mean just look at his semblance for proof he doesn’t have anything flashy like Weiss’s or powerful like Yang‘s it’s the ability to give up his own aura I think he needs to protect himself in order to help others. He’ll keep fighting no matter what pushes him down he’ll get back up.
Top notch. The song and Jaune resonate with each other, encapsulating the simple, yet powerfull elements of Jaune's character, determination, perseverance, bravery, kindness, simplicity and hope. And the transitions really work to show his feelings and his growth through the series.
I am praying for a volume that will center around Jaune & his family. I even have some fresh & great ideas for his parents & 7 sisters that: Ciel Arc: Jaune's father. 42 years old. Short chocolate brown hair & blue eyes, which Jaune inherited from. He's often dressed in a suit, & wears a golden chain necklace & blue shades looking like the mafia. He happens to be pretty good-looking & is cool as not only a husband & father, but also a warrior. He has a good father-son relationship with Jaune especially because of him being his dad's only son. Ciel cares alot for his boy & doesn't ever want Jaune to believe that he & his wife do not have faith in their son. The two share a mutual understanding with each other. During his youth, Ciel used to be alot like Jaune. Dream Voice Cast: English: Matt Mercer & Japanese: Daisuke Ono. Oriana Arc: Jaune's mother. 42 years old. Long wavy yellow blonde hair with the same bangs as her son's & periwinkle eyes. Jaune mostly looks like his mom. She is a strong-willed & extremely beautiful woman who is even like a MILF. Males would blush to her appearance, plus when she looks at them. Imagine Jaune's mom looking at his guy friends/companions: Ren, Sun, Neptune & Oscar, & they of course blush to her intense beauty. Oriana is kindhearted & supportive, & is a very good cook & would even teach her children especially Jaune her cooking skills. Jaune states that he loves his mom's biscuits. DVC: English: Karen Strassman & Japanese: Sanae Kobayashi. Nerida Arc: Jaune's oldest sister. 23 years old. Long wavy sandy blonde hair & blue eyes. Nerida is, popular, hot, & beautiful. She's kind & protective to all of her younger siblings, as well as motherly towards the youngest ones. She happens to be a famous model & singer, but there's also more than what she is, she's also a powerful warrior. She is also somehow acquainted with Weiss' big sis Winter. What if Jaune will reveal that Pyrrha actually reminded him of his big sister? What if Nerida Arc might even be the summer maiden? DVC: English: Erica Lindbeck & Japanese: Aya Hirano. Agate Arc: Jaune's 2nd oldest sister. 21 years old. Short chestnut brown hair, periwinkle eyes & a beauty mark (which is a mole) under her left eye. Agate is a very tough & strong fighter with strength that rivals to Yang's. She's also famous as a cage fighter. Agate is very protective of her family & would get extremely pissed off if anyone were to threaten them. Imagine what she would do to Cardin when learning that he bullied her only baby brother. During his youth, Jaune reveals that he would always practice fighting by sparring with Agate who would obviously end up as the winner. DVC: English: Whitney Rodgers & Japanese: Chie Nakamura. Violet Arc: Jaune's older sister. 19 years old, 10 months older than Jaune making the 2 siblings Irish twins. Long straight light brown hair with a small ponytail in the back & periwinkle eyes. Violet happens to care so much for Jaune. She would always help him take care of their 4 younger siblings...like a wife. Plus Violet happens to love Jaune like too much & it's because she actually has a huge brother complex. She has been having such forbidden feelings for Jaune since they were kids. Violet also hates people who reject her brother, so she disliked Weiss because of her rejecting Jaune. Violet can also get jealous when girls are around Jaune, imagine RT stating that if Pyrrha was still alive, Violet would've really hated her. She's more jealous of Ruby because of her close relationship with Jaune, Violet would even glare at Ruby whenever she's with her beloved little brother. Violet knows that she cannot be with Jaune & would never want to ruin his life because of her incestuous love. She even sometimes wishes that she was never born as his sister, so that she can be allowed to love him & would attempt to win his heart, but even if she was never born his sister, Jaune would still view her plattonically. One problem I feel jaune would have a lot of resentment and hate for his family as he would feel their refusal to train him is why he wasn't strong enough to save pyhrra or kill cinder and with cinder now gone I feel jaune would transfer all his pain into anger which he would direct at the nearest justifiable target for him his family or more specifically his parents
Jaune specifically said how his parents never believed in him though. When talking to Pyrrah "Did you know you were the first one to believe in me?" Also, coming up with their breast sizes like that, might just be me, but that's creepy.
Juane Arc has become a soldier. Not a hero. I know people say soldiers are heroes and I will never deny that, but people also misunderstand what a hero has to do: the right thing. People misunderstand what the right thing is, attributing mercy and justice as the hero's perogative, but the right thing is justice and sometimes it's not justice as society expects it. The way Jaune goes for the kill on Cinder is not only an act of vengeance, it's also justice for a kingdom torn a asunder. It's the act of justice that no court of law could give, only a swift death. It's also the act of a soldier, not even thinking of the big picture in that moment, just that the threat of this fucking bitch who has too much power to hold in her twisted needs to be ended. Jaune Arc is a hero in the way every soldier can be. To do the job in front of them as pragmatically as possible. Heroes like Ruby aren't pragmatic. They're idealistic. Jaune is the soldier, the tactician, the pragmatist. Finish the job, no matter what.
Who's here after V8's ending? I fee liked Jaune might suffer in silence for most of V9 while helping the others but it'll be Neo who knows what he is doing and what he is going through and the only person to really sort of help him in her own way is Neo (Yes I'm a SilentKnight guy) though I also have a bit of a sus feeling that Jaune might die... While protecting RWBY+N and while it hurts them once more... They grow from it
bruh I'm here for it and I agree with this comment thought I hope he doesn't die , he deserves to be the last one standing, when facing cinder, and Salem, maybe tyrion , he has been around since vol 1 and grown so much despite getting so much hate he still stayed strong though , also silentknight bruh that's rare, I'm one whiteknight myself no offense😅
I don't fear a man who has nothing to lose. I fear a man who still has something to protect, beacue it's not about loss, strenght is a choice, fighting like hell to protect what's important to you. Someone like Cinder, who threw away everything she ever had will never had true power.
I plan to make one about the characters that went through the most this volume, though if there's enough scenes with Jaune I will make one just for him.
after his semblance unveil i did not need explanation to see what he could do. right now Jaune has the potential to be the healing juggernaut. A sentinel. It's scary really.
Jaune reminds me so much of this quote. "A Knight protects. A Hero saves. A Soldier endures. We wanted to be Heroes, wanted to be Knights and instead here we find ourselves, turned into Soldiers..."
