Let's be honest. LeeandLie has never disappointed in any cover they've done. They're remarkably talented.

The amount and quality of art in this cover is damn phenomenal, just, like, can we all appreciate that?-

The artwork in this hit me like a freight train. Everyone gets their own “lost mentor figure,” even Oscar! It’s amazing.

At 3:14 , God Dang that YOU part steals the show for me and I think even escalates it above more in my opinion. As I can feel the sadness and possible anger mixed in with it. As Ruby speaking to her mother both sad and mad she left her, even if she understood the reason why she did it. It just this songs feels like it carries more emotion then the original in a way but the OG will still always be gold, this just feels like Gold with an extra sprinkle of gold on top that makes you feel the emotion in the song. A song between a Mother having to leave her daughter for the greater good and asking her not to follow in her steps. A daughter sad, angry, and torn at her mothers decision to leave her, even though she understands. Still ultimately following in her footsteps despite her mother saying not to as its the right thing to do.

I love the visuals here. Shows that there's always someone who can't replaced in someone's life. Ruby = summer Weiss = Winter Blake = Adam being her first love no matter how she wishes he wasn't Yang = Raven Oscar = Ozpin probably being the closest thing he has to a dad

Casey Lee Williams and Leeandlie are the most beautiful feminine voices I've ever heard

"I had to do what I had to do." Name a line in this song that better sums up the mentality of Ozpin, Raven, Winter and Adam.

I was listening to other rwby music and saw this and I thought “when'd this come out and how come I’ve never seen it?” Saw it was 30 minutes ago. Beautiful cover!

I absolutely love this version, it gives a true feeling of anguish that I should've felt from the original version: this one breaks my heart and puts it back together at the same time

I'm literally rewatching Rwby, and just finished the 1st volume, and I see her post this. I'm not sure what to think. Kind of creepy how that played out. But yes more Rwby songs from Lee!

Probably the best cover I've ever heard of this song. The sheer emotion brought across with the vocals is beyond amazing

I loved the trailers, and the first few episodes, but Players and Pieces, and the fight against the Nevermore and Deathstalker, is still my favorite moment in the series, and completely hooked me on RWBY as a whole.

She never falls to impress, grate spin would love to hear your own songs moreover like "One Hell Of A Team". Your Originals like your spin offs have more power because of your uniqueness to them. Either way this is grate. Love the show and hearing you makes me love it more.

The visuals are amazing and matching the lyrics so well. The position of Oscar first and Ozpin later gave me chills

This is killer. I love when singers who cover this include the actual "every single fucking day" lyric.

0:36-This moment here, where you show the other members of Team RWBY and Oscar(as well as yourself, you do love those self-inserts, don't you), in timing with "There's no knight in shining armor who will wake me from this spell." Beautiful. Simply Beautiful. They are her knights in shining armor(especially the one at the end, the one in clearer definition than the others. You know who I'm talking about, yes, I see what you did there. Looks like someone wants to water the Rosegarden), and while they can't break the spell of grief and loneliness for her, they can help her do it herself.

RWBY has its problems but DAMN we can all agree it has produced some incredible music

Casey Lee Williams has a great voice, but by the gods this verison hit me hard. I lost my grandmother when I was too young to really understand what was going on, but listening to this video brought twlears to my eyes thinking of her. I'm blown away by the talent that's gone into this and I appreciate the personal touches. It's amazing that for a duet that's being sung by one vocalist, I don't even need to visual cues to know which character is speaking - I can simply tell by the subtle changes in the pitches and tones of voice used. Nonstop chills. Excellent job!!!

"fills my head with dreams and finds me" Heck, I just realized maybe those aren't actually dreams. They are hopes, and with hope, always comes failure and cost. Too heavy a dream can crush one's shoulders. I don't know what's the reason for her to live like she does now, but I know that she WILL chase after Summer. Not until the moment she finds it impossible.

Skin? Clear. Crops? Watered. Hotel? Trivago. This is absolutely incredible. You nailed the tone of the song all the way through while making it your own - I especially love that you held that note at 3:14. Bravo! ❤️

LeeandLie is definitely the place to go to for music like this. SoundCloud is no match. Trust me. LeeandLie doesn’t sacrifice lyrics for rhythm or music. Every other artist does just that. They even change the lyrics most times. Definitely adding this to my playlist.
