velvet (rant incoming) can fit any role, although she is far faster than strong, she has been shown strong enough to flip a mech, and can quickly adapt to any weapon, i doubt she can take a hit, but its a matter of landing a hit, she can avoid and retaliate with just as much force.
She doesn't really adapt her semblence is to be able to copy other peoples moves that she sees perfectly but what im wondering is how did she Penny use the mega lazer thing
Jacob Andrews no, if she can copy semblances, then it makes perfect sense. earlier when penny first talks to rose (the second time they meet), she explains that she is a synthetic human, with heart, soul, and auras just like natural humans. it can still work within their story without Deus ex machina :-)
theres a day when all hearts will be broken when a shadow will cast out the light and our eyes cry a million tears help wont arrive theres a day when all courage collapses and our friends turn and leave us behind creatures of darkness will triumph the sun won't rise when we've lost all hope and succumb to fear as the skies rain blood and the end draws near i may fall but not like this-it won't be by your hand i may fall not this place, not today i may fall bring it all-it's not enough to take me down i may fall theres a place where we'll stand outnumbered where the wolves and the soul-less will rise in the time of our final moments every dream dies theres a place where our shields will lay shattered and the fear's all that's left in our hearts strength and our courage have run out we fall apart when we lose our faith and forsake our friends when the moon is gone and we reach our end there's a moment that changes a life when we do something that no one else can and the path that we've taken will lead us one final stand there's a moment we make a decision not to cower and crash to the ground the moment we face our worst demons our courage found when we stand with friends and we won't retreat as we stare down death then the taste is sweet i may fall but not like this -it won't be by your hand i may fall not this place, not today i may fall bring it all-it's not enough to take me down i may fall
"When we lose our faith And forsake our friends When the moon is gone And we reach our end " *glares at the end of Volume 3 and the first few episodes of Volume 4*
Also Known As: Ragnarok Theme Song Why? Well, Ragnarok is all about "We're all gonna die someday in a horrible apocalyptic scenario and there's nothing we can do about it." But this song is about holding onto the hope that you can change your destiny, which is also something that rang true as a theme throughout Norse Mythology. Heck, it even has a lyric that says "where the wolves and the soulless will rise" Wolves= Fenrir Soulless=Giants
Guys, this song appeared in volume 3, right before the finale. It was preparing us for the next episodes and the mood of the beginning of volume 4 😧😧😧. I love how Rooster Teeth subtly prepares us for what's to come later.
I MAY FAAAAAAAALLLL BUT NOT LIKE THIS IT WON'T BE-- *2 volumes later..* Adam: --Bye, your hand. -i'm sorry you can murder me now i;m sorry it's just everyone else makes this joke i just wanted to look coooooooolll-
lyrics There's a day when all hearts will be broken When a shadow will cast out the light And our eyes cry a million tears Help won't arrive There's a day when all courage collapses And our friends turn and leave us behind Creatures of darkness will triumph The sun won't rise When we've lost all hope And succumb to fear As the skies rain blood And the end draws near I may fall But not like this - it won't be by your hand I may fall Not this place, not today I may fall Bring it all - it's not enough to take me down I may fall There's a place where we'll stand outnumbered Where the wolves and the soulless will rise In the time of our final moments Every dream dies There's a place where our shields will lay shattered And the fear's all that's left in our hearts Strength and our courage have run out We fall apart When we lose our faith And forsake our friends When the moon is gone And we reach our end There's a moment that changes a life when We do something that no one else can And the path that we've taken will lead us One final stand There's a moment we make a decision Not to cower and crash to the ground The moment we face our worst demons Our courage found When we stand with friends And we won't retreat As we stare down death Then the taste is sweet I may fall But not like this - it won't be by your hand I may fall Not this place, not today I may fall Bring it all - it's not enough to take me down I may fall
+Chris Wake Yes!!! RWBY has a far better set up and theme than Attack on Titan. Also, you don't need intense gore to attract fans and viewers like Attack on Titan does.
this song always reminds me of Aragorn at the black gate. A day may come when the courage of men fails. when we abandon our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of men comes crashing down. But it is not this day! This day we fight!
I want that to happen as well but like this: when they have the ultimate battle, they're losing, then after the guitar solo everyone comes back (including the villains) and defeat Cinder. then ReNora happens
Do you guys think Volume 8 is going to be the last Season considering what happened at the end of 7. Not going to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet but just curious.
+Lord Nameless Of Somnium It's up on youtube :p Go watch the show up to current before reading the comment section on its OST. Of course people are going to be talking about it here.
Yeah. Whenever I listen to this soundtrack I feel like "OH YEAH! BEST SOUNDTRACK IN THE WORLD! SO EPIC" and "Wow, this music is pretty dark, and I would feel weird if people heard me listen to stuff like this and sacrifice and divide... but they are so catchy and epic!!! WHAT DO I DO!?!!?!"
Noah Vining well for me it makes me think of the scene where Velvet does something and then I remember that she uses Penny's weapon at some point and then I get depressed because Penny.
No, the final battle song will be "This will be the day we've waited for" as the team lays the smack down on some God-power fueled Salem. "I dont wanna hear your absolution, hope your ready for a revolution!" and "a story will be told, victory is in a simple soul." just sound like final battle lyrics against some seemingly-divine being to me.
6 years later and still my fav RWBY song. I remember chilling on the swing at the park by my school (i always got there an hour early) in the cold watching the new RWBY episodes come out in 7th Grade... Now in like 30-ish days I'm graduating from HS... Time flies I tell ya
It definitely has the potential for some kind of duet sorta deal, doesn't it? Makes me almost a little bit sad that they didn't make use of it like that, but hey, I'm not complaining lmao :D
I just fucking realized that they are going to play the other half of this song in volume 4 when team RWBY finally "Make a decision" and all reunite in one kickass battle
Okay, I may be a colossal dumbass, but what exactly is this song foreshadowing? Spoilers: Phyra's death? Cuz that's the feeling I got from it... (especially with the guy's voice maybe indicating Jaune, and their journey together training and getting stronger) Or is it just Velvet's weapon? I might just be totally thick and be missing the point, but could someone please clarify?
This song is literally my theme song.... Fail after fail for me but at the end I may fall but not like this it won't be by your hand..... it is literally the only way you succeed, keep trying and you'll succeed
Awesome song. But god-fucking-damn the TIMING IS ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE. I am more frustrated by this one song than I have been by every other song I have ever covered. Combined.
Admitting that you are not strong enough, but you still try. You face failure, and fear it will win. Still you stand up for yourself. You might lose, but you don't go without fighting. Fucking onions...
The idea of communism, gentlemen, with which everyone says he agrees, is the life-law of love applied to social life. The law of love is innate in man, as in all life; but attempts to apply this law to social life will only be made when men’s consciousness of their life has begun to mature in them, when they come to see more and more clearly their own existence, when they understand more and more clearly that it is precisely and solely in love that energy, the energy of life, creative energy lies. When men compare their own inner understanding of life with, on the one hand, the life of nature they find that here their life-consciousness is everywhere confirmed, that love, which they recognise as their life, is equally the real life of nature; but when, on the other hand, they compare their conception of life, now confirmed and enriched by the natural sciences, with social life, they find with horror that here, in their own world, nothing conforms to this law of life and that everything contradicts it - in a word, they discover that they are living in a perverted world! After the first stupefaction and the terror produced by this sad discovery has gone, men think they must look for the cause of this perversion of their own world only in the consciousness which men have had of life up till now being perverted; thus, they think, how could human society, this product of human understanding and will, be reasonable while this same understanding and will are not yet so? But, gentlemen, this is manifestly not the ultimate cause. We must therefore ask again: what is the origin of the perverted life-consciousness? We will now try to answer you on this point. I'm not sorry
