I would almost call the Blacksmith motherly during her interactions with Ruby. She gave Ruby the freedom to choose, but also tried to gently encourage her to open her eyes.
I do like the revelation that the brothers were actually partners instead of enemies. It's nice to have a mythology that acknowledged the cycle of life death and rebirth, instead of the boring cliché of life = good, death = evil. But it also makes sense that humans would perceive them incorrectly by projecting their own worldview onto them.
Yeah but then there was what the brothers did to salem and them being hypocrits saying that you cant bring people back from the dead when that happens all the time in the ever after and things turn out fine.
@@jacobweatherford4696 Well its because they set up the human world differently than the Ever After. Humans don't come from the tree so they can't really go back to it. They still get reincarnated, if the souls floating around the Blacksmith's forge are any indication. You just can't bring someone back as the same person, supposedly that's the cost of magic and having free will(?). It's why they created the Jabberwocky: to kill the afterans who no longer had a purpose. And Salem did lie to try to turn them against each other for her own gain, which was a shitty thing to do. Of course her punishment was horrific and completely undeserved.
Imagine if the Blacksmith gave cool powerful upgrades to the weapons of Team RWBY and Jaune before they return to Remnant so that they have the edge against Salem and her forces of Grimm.
So is she like the GOD of the GODS as in THE BROTHERS cause that’s the vibe I was getting from her at the end when she explained about how the gods where born in a sense she created them wow 😮
The Blacksmith is gonna be a part of the solution of Remnant, I believe. Well, at least, her next being she'll repurpose...... Neo!! Just a working theory in my mind. lol
Best character from the Ever After hands down. Just the right amount of mystery around her, soothing voice, tight dialogue (except for the final lore dump, but that just sucks overall)
