Both are really impressive cars. It's pretty hard to out launch the all wheel drive, but the rear drive just pulls hard as hell up top. What tires were on the rear drive one?
Looks crazy, what supporting mods have you done to your E63? Colder plugs? Exhaust? I'm taking delivery of my 2012 E63 in a few days. Are you tuned with Eurocharged?
@@MyBoostedGarage what win in a dig and roll stage 2 cls63 or stage 2 m550i ? The cls63 has 100 ft pounds of torque more but the m550i has the zf transmission. What car would be better for launching from 0?
Wow I didn't know the AWD loses steam that bad in top end & he's running meth! Might keep my '12 a littler longer then.....also what tires are you on? I'm only on a stage 1 tune, stock cats with Michelin PS4S & they hook fine after a burnout
When my car was stage 1 I didn’t have issues with hooking. Cats and stage 2 file netted me over 100wtq over the stage 1. Tires are cheap firehawk Indy 500’s. I had drag radials and slicks last year. They helped but definitely wouldn’t dead hook without spinning.
@@MyBoostedGarage catts won’t add power. And simple 1 Stg upgrade to Stg 2 won’t add 100 tq, especially wheel tq. All power increases stated are crank.
@@IranAir12 cats removed and stage 2 I saw huge difference in power. It unlocked the car completely into a different animal. Plus I have dyno videos on my channel if you want to watch✌🏽
I test driven both before making my decision, the facelift e63s awd just didn't give me that raw AMG feel I get from all my other rwd AMG's, so I end up getting a 2013 pre facelift performance package designo e63. It was also only $10k less than I was going to pay for the 2015 e63s I test drove. I stage 2, catless downpipes, .22 gap cold plugs, high flow intakes from BMC, I'm at 744bhp and 831 lb-ft tq. The rwd m157 has proven to be much quicker than the awd version. But you might like the facelift look, but I personally fell in love with the muscler look of the pre facelift. Test drive both than decide.
@@talkditingsdem5799 thanks a Lot for the answer.. i will just do the same thing.. i just want the greatest AMG... And i think its m157 5.5.. maybe the CLS63 would be for me.. looks great and the prices is just fine for me and the best part is its available in AWD and RWD
@@supreme684 You're welcome. Honestly you can't go wrong with any AMG you choose, they're all great to me. A w218 cls63 is a little heavier than the w212 e63 but they're nice and are a beast of a car. Good luck buddy!
@@talkditingsdem5799 AMG's is just perfect in anyway.. i am going to see an W218 cls63.. 557HP RWD.. only 37.xxx KM.. one owner.. You helped me a lot.. if the cls63 isnt for me i will find an e63
Just remember kids, these were 85-115k dollar cars new. High maintenance and only good to about 125-130k miles on the odometer. 2012-13 rwd was 170 lbs lighter. The CLS is slightly lighter because no pano roof and smaller brakes.
@@MyBoostedGarage if its factory lsd, most likely not as good as what you can get in aftermarket department Its not that costly Once i get my hands on e63, this will be my first mod together with remap Then lowering and wheels And thats me done Muffler delete also, but thats not really a mod 😁
