Difference in the yamaha rx135 5 speed and 4 speed carburetor.
Quick differences
All the differences explained here is based upon the standard setting carburetor, people usually change and swap the components based upon their requirements

Hi... That will mostly depends on the price your getting at and your expectations.. Technically it's a 4speed with 5speed gear box.. Which you can do by getting a 4speed 135 and swapping it with 5s Gbox Thrill of 5speed is actually In the 5s block.🙂

Sir I want to know how many degree is full turn ? 180 degree or 360 degree ? And how many turn i have to give in my carburettor rx 135 ,4 speed for perfect tuning?

Hi, its 360 full There is no fix point for perfect tuning. Every bikes perform differently. Try setting around. 1.5 turns. Ride- check - re adjust

I have the jets from the 5s carb. If I put them on a 4s carb and put them on a 5s block setup will it perform like a 5s carb

No it won't be working exactly like a 5s carb.. but go ahead , it will work somewhat close to it.

Also I've been looking for a 5s carb for my RX 5s. It's running on RX 100 Micarb and tends to cut the engine off under heavy acceleration. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Better you do porting on all ports and use 1.5mm or upto 2.50mm piston kit on your block, it will leave behind the 5s.

Very informative video brother. You have now touched each and every aspect of Rx 100, 135 4s and 135 5s carbs from design front. I wonder why the throttle needle of 135 5s is wavy in structure? Isn't it should be continuously tapering from one end to the other so when it pulled when throttle twisted will let more fuel to get sucked into the Venturi in a linear manner.

Thank you brother for. Anyhow "Wavy "isn't a very appropriate technical term to it, it's called as "double point tapered needle". Having two points of tapering with different ranges.it's designed based upon ports selection and performance needed. Selected by manufacturer as stock, and people even switch it .

So that 2point tapering makes it look like a wave with 2 ebbs and crest... Moreover it's not necessary that the needle should be tapered, any carbs have the needle which is cylindrical from top to bottom ( no tapering). Like Vm 26, rajdoot175.

@@MotoTravelRide If the needle is cylindrical in these bike's carbs, then who it increases the fuel supply into atomizer jet unless there is increase in the clearance between atomizer jet's walls and needle surface? correct me if wrong.

Cylindrical needle ( non tapered) ones have a different atomiser which itself is tapered, means the atomiser itself has the variable diameter ..

4TL01 carb is better than 4TL20 carb as the Venturi is larger in Rx 135 4S also the jet is 165 size and In Rx 135 5S is 145. The intake on the air vent is faster on the 4TL10 carb. Over all experience I use 4TL 10 Carb on my Rx 135 5S it's gives good punch for the initial pickup good for hills in the Himalayas.

Can i get your number. Coz i have got a carb saying it for Rx 100.but the pilot jet number is 105.it didn't work with Rx100. I tried to swap the pilot jet but the new carb thread is in atomiser and the pilot jet treads are different. I need your help.

Hi bro. What is the appropriate needle clip position in rx135 5speed for better performance. Mine is a original rx 135 5speed. I'm not from a hilly location so mostly ride on flatter surfaces. Initial pickup and in gear acceleration is good but lacking top end.

hiii.. keep it in the mid anytime, any condition you ride. only if needed on hills go to upper slots. for your 5 peed carb, needle should have 3 slots.,so keep it on the 2nd one .

I have a question when I start my RX 135 I can hear some sound in the engine like as if there is some nut or some part loosened (weird noise) What's wrong with it? I'm not able to cross 75KMPH as well. Please through some light on this. Thanks in anticipation

In that case it won't harm the engine but it won't make any difference. i have used my 5s carb on a friends 135... Both cases tried

You can, might have hard time to tune the bike perfectly. So in that case just down size the main jet of you 4TL20 carb.

@@Smrdvnanmaklu HI... overflow can be corrected with precision by some expert guy..get it done. or else send me the carb will correct and send you back. meanwhile rx100 carb on a rxg will under fuel the bike, not good for the bike.. By the time you get the rxg carb set you can use the 100 carb with the main and pilot jet swapped from you rxg carb.(temporarily)

MotoTravel except d head all other parts I hav changed all to 5speed even d catalytic silencer is der any different wit d head n d thing is d cylinder wich i hav got is sleeved 4tl10 compression is abit weak any suggestions regarding good compression??
