so glad when he mentioned that they were a brain dead rock n' roll pop band and they don't really care so much about the money cause are people of simple taste and needs. It's so good to see musicians like this in the actual rock era with the same ideology from the beginning... make good music, enjoy, be happy, chill, share, be open minded, be modest, and most importantly have fun

He's so smart. That work ethic combined with his once-in-a-generation talent will make him a superstar.

what i love so much about Van as a front man is he is not like the typical front man that puts on the mysterious act. he's so down to earth and genuinely loves a good chat and on top of that all he is so charismatic

at first i was like; why the fuck isnt it more guitar, but then i realized i could listen to his voice isolated...AND IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!! I love these guys

He's so funny and chilled out in conversation, but when he starts singing, it's wicked intense and raspy. I really like it, it's really genuine. I don't have a favorite song, I adore them all. Top 3 from The Balcony would probably be Kathleen, Rango and Hourglass..from The Ride, it's Twice. I just love that song more than anything.

Van seemed a little sick here. Or probably just got the colds. Nevertheless, he managed to play very well and did the interview with humility. Van's down-to-earth attitude mixed with his incredible talent is surely the reason he and his band are going places.
