I've tended to shy away from adapting Brenner-era episodes. As much as I love them, they're quite challenging, and very time-consuming. The filming process took several days to complete, and I definitely dragged my feet while editing this. The reason why I chose this episode? Simply put, Clay Truck Works released an amazing model series-styled Ryan, and I wanted to use him in a way which seemed appropriate. I opted to use mostly model series locations in place of the CGI ones (with some exceptions like Arlesburgh Harbour because I absolutely adore that location). I also experimented with different ambient lighting techniques that I think turned out pretty well.
As fun as it was to put my own twist on this story, it may be some time before I adapt another CGI-era episode. I have a few in mind that I'd like to tackle, but it'll take a lot of time and patience. With that being said, I hope that you enjoy the finished result.

1st. Well done. That is exactly how the Brenner-Era/60FPS Clay-Faced Model Series should have lasted forever where all of this would have been a reality especially with the respective voice stars (US and UK). You could do the same with the other CGI-Stories and Specials to make it right.

I like the new Ryan model from Mainland's website. Why didnt you use that one?

I like Mainland’s Ryan as well, I just really wanted to try out the model series styled variant as that’s an era of the show I’m more attached to. I felt like it worked better to keep the model style fairly consistent throughout the video (hence why I opted not to include Stafford and Winston)

@@RustedWheelProdI mainly use models like TSI's and Ravenshire Works' SKR models for RWS and RU-vidr remakes that require red liveries and loads like Peter Sam's funnels and I use Mainland's CGI SKR models for present day and when I'm on Sodor Factories' BMQ route.

@@RustedWheelProdHow did you add Mark Moraghan's narration and the CGI voice cast in this with edited music and sound effects? Goof: When Daisy tells Ryan that she'll be going to the shed Ryan's wheels are still moving.
