Ryan Canning (First set) 

I first heard the jig arrangement of the Cameronian Rant played by Stuart Liddell, one of my favourite pipers. Then I heard FMM play it at their Recharged concert in August. One of the greatest tunes in the piping repertoire as played by 22 Stuart Liddells, a drum corps and drum kit... wow...

the fiddlers rally was an accordian tune called donald iain rankin with only 2 parts. Gordon walker arranged it for the pipes and added 6 more parts.The best jig ever!

I am sorry if I gave the impression that I thought anybody was lying/misleading about this composition. That was not my intention. This has bugged me for a while and I am just trying to reconcile two sets of inconsistent information from people where I wouldn't expect either would intentionally mislead/lie. The music I have is entitled "The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra", un-dated and I would have received it in 1994 or 1995.

It's probably just part of his tuning routine. I didn't see a whole slow air in there, though there might have been bits and pieces of a few.

Hmm. I had thought that Iain Campbell in Queensland, Australia composed the tune. I have some handwritten manuscript from Iain from around 1994 for this tune.

Faultless, not a tone of a Highland bagpipe; Fair play, excellent chanter. Tone? Buy or get some drone(s)or/and pay attention the st up your pipe(s)Otherwise not worth listening, set your pipes.
