He went on to express his depression and how he used drugs and alcohol to try to cure himself 3. Recently Ryan came out with a few songs that show his emotions trending to a happier vibe, battling his depression and trying to overcome it. The past 5 years have been a crazy story and I’m happy that Ryan is Thrivin now👍🏻

Also a theme that is becoming more prevalent is how drug dealing, gang banging, and womanizing is no longer a lifestyle to aspire to, but something to move PAST and away from to be happy in life. That's a radical shift away from decades of messaging ingrained in popular music.
