Ryan Crouser of the United States threw 23.30m to win the event, defending his Olympic title from Rio 2016 and setting a new Olympic record! His fellow American Joe Kovacs took silver, while bronze went to Thomas Walsh of Australia.

ryan crouser is now a living legend and one of the greatest athletes to ever exist, i don't think anyone is coming near his records for atleast 20-30 year. He might as well win his 3rd gold in paris too
