Ryan Day had better figure out how to get this team prepared enough to play a full 60min of football, or next week will be their first loss. I think I’ve seen OSU play one game the past 4yrs where they played solid, and consistent for all 4qtrs. They’ve gotten away with it against these unranked teams, but they’re going to get punched in the mouth next week, and on the road at that. I’d say that with a roster wort $20million, the fans just assume this team prepared to face it. Or, Ryan Day will leave OSU with a “Best coach to underperform with a $20million team of elite athletes”, reputation. Beating up on unranked teams can be done without spending a dime of NIL money.

So, what you’re saying is that all $20million is going to buy Ohio State is, a bouncy, hopeful attitude from week-to-week? Hell we can “stay positive” without dropping $20million. And, P.S….there are no “perfect games” in ANY football league, jack-@ss. Your tree-swinging version of “nun-uh”, did nothing to defend how much this $20million dollar roster has underperformed for half this season (specifically the QB). Now….go home and count to $20million (without pleasuring yourself) before you touch your, most likely sticky, keyboard again.

Nowhere did I say “perfect” in my comment. According to you $20million is only supposed to give OSU alumni (the people writing that check) “a positive bouncy attitude full of hope”???? A full 60min of consistent football is out of the question??? Do us “ladies and gentlemen” a favor and stay away from voting booths this year.

@@thefireshow1 What do the two upsets today have to do with Ryan Day getting this team prepared and motivated enough to play 60minutes of solid football? If anything, it should be a wake-up call that not showing up to play till the 2nd half won’t cut it from here on out. We’ve got a $20million roster. I would think that would buy us at LEAST some fundamental consistency. Apparently, according to the other idiots comment, all $20million gets us is “hope”. I can’t wait to see what these comments will say when this $20million roster loses to a team that spent $2million (if that). Which is exactly what’s going to happen if (at minimum) Day can’t get Howard to make better decisions throwing the ball.
