Men are mad BECAUSE they say men rule the world in the film lmao it’s men that don’t believe in misogyny and the patriarchy that are mad. The whole point of the movie is showing how both woman and men should be able to live and exist comfortably outside of their expected gender roles if they wish, and how Barbies (woman) can be anything they want regardless of what men tell them, and how Kens (men) are allowed to exist without seeking the power over and the attention of woman. The movie calls out the world for its treatment of woman while also showing how the patriarchy negatively effects men as well. Your friend should probably watch it. He seems like he needs some perspective lmao

Normally I don’t give a crap about stuff like this but I got curious of the talk of the song. Then I watched reaction videos since its weird to actually watch a feminist movie, then watched the movie. To the feminists, how is this a movie for you? this movie shows a dystopia where men are slaves. They know nothing but dictatorship and the women’s reign quickly falls to the kens and is then foiled by themselves due their own naivety of their new found freedom to the previous rulers. All because they only wanted love from them. While this stemmed from the first ken who only wanted was something innocent like love discovering that he was worth more than a slave. This movie is closer to an anti feminist movie than anything else lol
