Tactical flexibility is the most important trait to succeeding in nagglesmann's system. Ryan seems to have that already. Hopefully he can slot in nicely with Goretzka and Kimmich in games where we play 3 central mids!
he can be the player after thiago who brings a bit fluidity and creativity back into our midfield. could become an absolute monster from what i‘ve seen 🙏
I'm still wondering why he went Buyern Munich and hope Ten Hag is back in for him next summer because Buyern now still wants Laimer after having a million midfield players and none will be starting before Kimmich and Goretzka who are Germans
he can play the Thiago role, but needs another midfielder to cover up the dirty work for him. Like Fabinho does, so Thiago can do his own thing. I wouldn’t say his ability to pass short/long balls and using his vision are as good as Thiagos. But his footballing abilities are good enough to play a similar role. Gotta say Thiago is a different breed tho.. at Ajax alvarez covered up the dirty work, so Gravenberch could play a bit more forward as a balanced 8. That’s his best position, so at the end I’d say the Pogba role.
@@tiesjaja2938 interesting to see where he fits in the long run. I could see Kimmich move back to Rb, Goretzka can cover for him but he’ll also have to develop his defensive game.
@@thesidewaysfreak7848 yes man, as an Ajax fan who’ve watched him play very much I have to say I didn’t and still don’t think that he’s ready for Bayern, as he was also struggling at ajax.. at the end of the season he picked up his great form again, But midway/start of the season he was our worst player.. concentration loss, low workmate, ballpos loss, giving vibes like he didnt care at all which made a lot of fans doubt him. I hope bayern helps him om this weaker points. 1 or 2 more years at Ajax would have been the best for him I think. But training with the best at Bayern and working on a long term project isn’t bad as well. He just needs time. Bayern fans shouldn’t expect a Gravenberch who just comes and steals show immediately. He’s a raw gem but still needs a lot of shaping. I hope he’ll do well tho.
@@tiesjaja2938 LOL Alvarez was a hamper to Gravenberch. Gravenberch has better stats than Alvarez when it comes to ball recovery, defensive headers and clearances.
