Steve Briggins no no I know, but I mean mainstream success. Sure he probably doesn't care because he's making money regardless if its in the public eye. But I really did like his music and artistry and he kinda fell from the scene of making his own music and not just song writing. After I saw the making of the song "Addiction" and how much musical genius the man had I was pretty excited to hear more from him, but he hasn't made music in a few years I believe
+Ty Douglas R Les created his own sound. I see a certain higher value in the music he creates. His music is true genius and aint that commercial crap, and that's why he didn't blow up. It's only intended for the real music listeners not the pop market.
@shawndon7374 I was about to say the same thing cause I was in middle school around that time and my friends and I had this on MySpace. That's how old this song is lol
I don't know about If she would have gotten bigger in this industry. But I know she would never got ran through it the way The way that she did she did if she would have stayed with Ryan. Or just never chose puffy at all.
Y'all don't know but this nigga has mad talent. Look it up. He plays instruments makes all his own beats writes all his own music has good education and he can sing and rap. And that's probably not all
I'm definitely feeling you on that comment. As a musician, the 90s rnb was so beautifully composed from the vocal arrangement with the rnb groups and music in general. This was cool, but you can't compare this to the 90s still.
Ryan leslie should have been one of the biggest producers in the game. He plays every instrument, sings and do beats. Wtf !!! Only kanye can nearly do all that
Why was Cassie never in this video? Best production on a track of this era hands down, still on repeat 500 years later. Ryan Les man. He should have been BIG 🙌🏼
Imagine if tik tok was released during his time he would have blown differently. However with his natural entrepernerial skills he had smashed the game but behind the scenes! Which for one makes me respect him and his achievement much more than some rappers etc
This sound will be missed, I was about 8 or 9, I'm glad to have grown up in this era, the mid-late 2000s were my early school years and an experimental edgy time. 🤙🏽
First time hearing this song and it’s actually good! Such a shame more music of Cassie and other artists never got to be heard or came out because of Diddy or the industry getting them blackballed 🤦🏻♀️
I'm a medical student and as I "speak", I'm preparing for my exams, particularly studying 'Drugs used to manage Addictions' and guess what? This song popped up in my mind while studying😅.... Today is 13 years after its release☺ A Gem❤
