To all those saying that this qualified because of the dancers only, no. I am voting for this because I love his tone, vocal range and the simplicity of the song. It takes me elsewhere for a full 3 minutes of serenity which I adore.

i love how they are the reason the ESC was taken from China! - for anyone that didn´t hear abou it - China cut out Irelands performance when they broadcast it, because of the homosexual love story, so the production took all the rights from them and now they can´t broadcast any of it anymore! It's a semifinal where Russia and Azerbaijan failed for the first time, and Greece failed for the second time. Many favourites were in that semifinal, including Israel, who won. Many of good songs failed to qualify.

Ballads dont do well.. Eurovision is s more about energy, fun, celebration & creativity.. there are already many ballads out there that sound similar.. Israels was truely unique , energetic, creative & memorable, and had a huge impact.. irelands was nice and chil and dancing performance complimented the song very nicely, but its not memorable, and sits among millions upon millions of other ballads that sounds similar..
EyeAmBatman Not memorable? Maybe I'm biased since I'm Irish but I've not seen one song, one ballad on national...international television with 2 male dancers for a love song, it's incredibly memorable and changes the entire dance or song competition game.

A wonderful song! Amazing! I listened now and realized that all love is love. We love a person first of all, for what he is, that he is next to us in joy and in sorrow. This is how we love our parents, brothers, sisters, and friends. I met my friend at the university and I am happy that I have him. He's an amazing person. I'm from Russia. And I am terrified of what is happening around my country. Whatever happens, I am loyal to my country and my home. We all need to understand each other and "evaluate everyone with one measure," as Serbian Patriarch Pavel used to say. There are no rightists here, everyone suffers here without exception and everyone needs help. Both sides. There are people everywhere who are innocent of anything. Only in this way is it possible to come to peace, only through a treaty. Otherwise, it does not lead to anything, we just "blow the dust to the wind" the work of dozens of previous generations. This is my call. Just be people, respect each other. May the Lord God help us all to get out of this.

I would have loved this winning. It was such a beautiful and emotional performance for a song with sad lyrics. I couldn't stop crying for at least half of it. This deserved to make history and be the 8th Irish victory. Greeting and lots of love from Spain ❤
