When the window net failed, I was worried about a broken arm, (or worse) you're tough as nails. It was damn scary to watch, to say the least!

Lets see your eyes. I remember how Davey Allison's eyes looked after his flips at Pocono in 1992 . Blood red ! Looks like Ryan has some bruising on the side of his eye.

First, I am a big fan of Preece. Anyone remember when Davey Allison took his sun glasses off during a interview after a reck at Dega (I think it was there). Definite concussion but I believe blaney hit was harder then preece like everyone says multiple hits the car takes impact blaney pushing a metal wall 5 feet in 0.2 seconds at 192 mph that shit was viscous and you can still see The effects.

Glad you are OK! There are so many forces at work with a crash like that, the one I thought about was the spin cycle. When the car is in the air twirling it's using up some of the energy so your not getting banged up but man you must have been dizzy for days! I hope the next race turns out with good results for you.

Glad all the safety equipment did it's job effectively and kept the man safe. But, holy s**t, the centrifugal (I think) forces just from the speed of those flips and rolls had to be absolutely insane.

I believe he definitely suffered a concussion. Him wearing sunglasses tells me he’s having trouble processing light into his eyes. He may say he is ok but I doubt he will be in that car for very long. When your eyes can’t process the lights around you your brain will get tired and brain fatigue sets in. I have had post concussion syndrome for 10 years and still have to have sunglasses on and limit my time in brightly lit places. I’m hoping I’m wrong but that is my take.

1st of all thank God Ryan Preece is okay and is ready to race again 🙏 2nd no matter what any automotive racing series in the world does, they will NEVER prevent cars from going airborne. Whether it's air getting underneath the said vehicle, or even some crazy wild shit in a wreck from wall rides/ tohitting someones car in the right place some how, you'll never stop a high speed racing machine from blowing over and barrel roll. That's like demanding a safer helmet in football. Like Nascar and other race series, Football has busted their ass on improved safety. And they have. Its still a dangerous sport and injury is possible. You'll never stop those injuries including to the head from happening no matter how much safety improves.

There's not a driver deserving of being on the track would look at racing any other way. This is the attitude we as fans expect from those we root for. But man, that was one hell of a crash. If that had been a floor exercise in gymnastics, I think it's a 10, stuck the landing. As cool as it is now that's he's fine, don't ever want to see a challenge to a crash like that. He's had a couple hard ass hits this year for sure. the one in the side earlier this year was a scary one. Enough of that. Worst part is, he's had nothing to do with any of them.

So glad you are safe. I know you have a lot of talent, Ryan, you can see it in your car control. Thank you for making this video for all of the racing family - we are all thankful you are okay. Now go do what you have earned the right to do, and that is to compete at this top level of racing. Thank you from your racing family.

Ya know, i dont particularly care for this car. It looks funny, (back of the car) sounds weird.Under it makes it look like a toy...But all of the safety things that have been done to improve these cars since 2001 is amazing. Cant forget the barriers at the tracks either. Blainey would've been hurt really bad or even killed with the hit he took if not for the wall... Stay aafe guy's...Lets go racin...
