I did, but then again it doesn´t matter, because the roles he chooses are open to that sort of "acting". You don´t need to be Hamlet in a romantic movie, comedy, comic book movie or an action movie. It just doesn´t require that sort of performance from you. He doesn´t do many dramas and as far as I know, he doesn´t choose to play actual historic figures either. Green Lantern was bad, but not because of his performace. I was perfectly fine with that. Jesse Eisenberg on the other hand......is a bad example of this for me. He always plays himself. Even when he plays a real life person like Zuckerberg. Quick speech pattern in every role, same faces, same lack of emotion etc.

I rather enjoyed his portrayal of a schizophrenic. "The Voices" around 2014. He kind of nailed the role. Movie wasn't meant to be overly funny.
