You can't kill Ned by loneliness (that would be sadness, and you can't die of sadness unfortunately in the sims). But, you can make his wife cheat on him and he would see her cheating, then get enraged and die. Like seriously sims? You can die of anger, and of shame (by peeing your pants), but you can't die of sadness?! :/

Karabo Matsio it could possible if they parted amicably with BF plus they're still friends with a lot of the staff and a lot of past employees occasionally still participate in BF's videos. (having said that their schedules would have to match up which could make it hard.)
