OneRepublic and Switchfoot are my two of my favourite 4 bands ❤

"Dare You To Move" is a significant song for me. I was just finishing film school and was asked if I would go on a mission trip to Cambodia. I turned it down but... One day I woke up with "I Dare You To Move..." in my head. I was so inspired by the lyrics that I changed my mind. I went on the 3 week mission trip. It was amazing to be able to share the gospel to so many hungry people. When I got back, I found that being away for so long played a significant roll in resetting some of my relationships. Though difficult at the time I moved on to bigger and better. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks so much for sharing your music.

What an articulate description of Switchfoot and how their music does resonate with so many people because their lyrics speak about being human and all of the struggles and pain that come with it. I am a big fan of Switchfoot but also a fan of OneRepublic. Especially like the song, "Kids." In response to your wanting to have Jon's vocal tone, he would probably tell you to listen to "The Original" from the EP, Vice Verses which is also an epic Switchfoot collection.
