Ryanair 737-800 bumpy landing during crosswind at Dublin Airport

@GOLD1702 The Rate of Decent is calculated by how high the Airport is above sea level, How far the Aircraft is from the Airport, The Speed of The Aircraft, the Weight of the Aircraft, the wind speeds surrounding the Aircraft, All the Variables come into Play when the Aircraft is given it's vectors and I was Laughing at the Pun. :)

@fillecool2 - Sorry, but you can't make a statement like that. It was more than likely an insufficient round-out. Landing a jet is a controlled crash as you dont get a full stall landing like you do in smaller aircraft. Gauging that moment when the gear that is 60ft behind you and 30ft below you is going to touch the tarmac is an art. The C172 I fly makes it very easy to get nice smooth landings as the nose attitude is high but with these big boys, you need something more.

@tomibewi it depends on wat rate u descend at alot descend too steeply 737 can b a fast plane too tho i prefere the 767

@fillecool2 ryanair pilots r always fass iya evr seen the vid. of one of the guys taxiing off the runway at a very high speed ? i were just like "wow!" :D my dad works 4 american airlines ad flys a 757/767 hehehe he can b fast but slow wen he wants to i been with him b4 his landings r brilliant ;) :)

agree,i have flown about 50 times in past4 years,had 1 terrible bumpy landing. and then pilot was woman :D
