RYANAIR | Boeing 737-8200MAX | Sunrise Approach Edinburgh [EDI] 

Description:
This beautiful approach was filmed on a lovely morning toward the end of sunrise with a gorgeous red sky. This flight was with Ryanair. I’ve always loved Ryanair, although they may be harsh, they are efficient and cheap. I payed €9.99 per person for this flight. After a slightly delayed departure from Dublin, this being due to our original stand being occupied by a delayed aircraft and having to wait for our aircraft (EI-HEN) to be towed from a remote stand. After a short wait on runway 16/34 we lined up on 28L and departed.
After climbing to our cruising altitude of 23,000 feet we followed the standard flight path for this route. Making a right hand turn out of Dublin flying north along the Irish coast, parallel to Co. Down and Belfast then making another slight right turn, entering the Scottish coast over Stranraer. Then beginning our decent over the borders to swing over the Firth of Forth for the final approach for Runway 24 in Edinburgh. A crosswind made for a slightly unstable and relatively fast landing. This led to some heavy breaking on the runway. Some of the footage after touchdown is slightly shaky because of this so my apologies. Reflecting on the flight, the new -8200 (MAX) aircraft are great for Ryanair. Not only are they quiet and fuel efficient but the Sky Interior cabin is much more comfortable, especially for a morning/ night flight when the mood lighting is in use.
This flight was almost fully booked but the crew did a good job at keeping everyone satisfied for the short flight. All in all it was a smooth and enjoyable flight. Looking forward to the next one with Ryanair.
