RYANAIR - London Gatwick (LGW) to Dublin (DUB) - Dirty Plane!! 

Hi, firstly thank you for your trip reports. Secondly I am not a Ryanair fan but between the UK and Ireland the choice is British Airways, Aer Lingus, EasyJet and Ryanair. All of them charge for food and drinks, Aer Lingus and BA charge for checking a bag on most fare levels. Ryanair and EasyJet always charged to check a bag. They all charge to per allocate your seat. So the difference between the legacy carriers and the LCC’s is very limited. The difference is often the fare and in London the airport they depart from. Yes the tray table should of been clean but they are effectively a bus service and nothing more. If you book Ryanair in advance but not too far in advance, don’t check a bag, don’t take priority boarding then often you can find a fare of £19.99 (USD26) from London to Dublin. It can cost more than that to park at Gatwick airport for 24hrs.

I love a good low budget airline! Flew to Japan with Aeroflot a couple years ago! Ultimately as long as you accept that you get what you pay for you won't be dissapointed!

Seat Back Pocket is your biggest gripe? Ryanair is the leader of low-cost airlines, designed to get you from A to B for cheap. I can understand the dirty tray table, but you explained why yourself. I have flown with them several times with no issues and, maybe because my expectations were low, I had no issues at all, even on a three-hour flight to Spain!

Did you mean gate, not runway when you said you sat on the runway for an hour and a half?

What's unnecessary about member of cabin crew making sure all passengers that board the aircraft are indeed on the correct plane?

What is the name of the app or page you use at the beginning?

Fly for little money, but still complain at the highest level. Unbelievable people like that.
