I spent literal HOURS trying to figure out why my new saw blade was crooked (I'm a beginner with tools lol.) And in less than 25 minutes you taught me more in this one video than I learned in 2 years of wood shop. I have happily subscribed to you. I also LOVE that you mentioned that the blade is sometimes wider than the cut to be made, that little gem saved me so many headaches lol. Your instruction was clear, concise, to the point, and easy to understand.
That is the greatest compliment I could have ever received! Thank you so much for taking the time to write that comment! God bless you in all your woodworking projects, and more! 💪🏽💕
I took up woodworking as my pandemic hobby. I learned a lot but ngl I feared the table saw. Heard too many horror stories. I finally bought the Ryobi but couldn't figure out how to put on that safety attachment. This video finally gave me the confidence to use it. Thank you!
I can't tell you how wonderful this video was. My home renovation is a scary undertaking and watching you explain one of my tools so that I could use it and not hurt myself and get the job done was amazing. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for the kind comments!! I’m so proud of you for taking on your home, renovation and learning and mastering new tools! You can do it, my friend!
I have a different Ryobi table saw that I’ve had for about 8 years and have never used it. After watching your video you e given this 62 the courage to work in those projects I want to do and my main thing was how to attach the blade guard assembly. Even though mines is different, I hope I can follow your directions to install the guard. Thank you so much.
Thank you much! You shared so many details to help me get the best results from my saw. I've never used one before but have assisted a user who had none of the safety equipment installled. Not the same. With your insight, I'm confident I will be able to use mine safely and confidently as well as trouble shoot. I hope ryobi sponsored you!
Just got my Ryobi yesterday and was looking for something like this! Your presentation is so good and very informative. No nonsense before, just getting to it! I love it!
@@ryanetotherescue I had a question and I apologize if you have discussed this already, but in the manual for the RTS23 pg 21 it talks about changing the Riving Knife positions. When you took the blade off, you talked about putting that back on and tightening it, but in my manual it’s not about tightening it, but a different position. Up being for through cutting and down, being for non-through cutting. Would love to hear your thoughts on this or a link to where you might have already done this. Thanks in advance!
What a wonderful presentation! You should make a video teach people how to make a presentation! In the words of Joe Friday from the old Dragnet tv series,... All we need are just the facts, ma'am." . I am 75 years old and always loved to build things, but due to kids, grandkids and career, I never really had the time to really learn the things I needed to do, nor did I have the tools I needed. I can't believe that at my age I'm setting up shop in my garage to do what I love. You are an inspiration!
Thanks so much for the very kind feedback! And it’s never too late to pursue your dreams! 🙌🏽 Best wishes on all of your woodworking projects. I’m sure you will make some very wonderful and special things!😍
An excellent safety video, I hope lots of newbies watch this video. I get frustrated how most woodworking videos on You Tube use table saws with safety features removed.
Awesome! I’m so glad you loved the video! Thanks for taking the time to comment! Post a picture of your project when you’re done and tag me on Instagram! I would absolutely love to see it! You can do it!💪🏽💕
Overall, great video. I have the same table saw. I would suggest to anyone buying their first table saw and really using it fully, to step up to a different brand. The cross cut guide isn't very accurate and kind of flexy. You will eventually want to build a sled for cross cuts. The problem is... there are ridges in the channels that prevent you from sliding the guide that are needed on the bottom of the sled. Also, these same ridges will prevent you from running a featherboard. Every other table saw I can find has two channels without those ridges. The Kobalt from Lowes is about the same price, if that's the concern.
I had no idea that my Ryobi table saw cut mitre/bevel angles. I wondered why they showed the angles underneath the saw by the turn handle for the saw to go up and down.
Question, what is the table saw product number that you are using? I have been to Home Depot and they can't help me (as usual). I thank you in advance. Also great video. God Bless and Stay Safe.
This table saw is nearly Identical to the Craftsmen one I got many years ago (2004) that recently was replaced with my Ridgid R4560.. 00:51 Legs, straps, fence holder location and how the legs attach to the base, Even how the folded up legs mount for storage on the back with the claws and the straps. 1:10 the twists. Exactly like my old Craftsmen table saw. I'm telling you TTI copied the old Craftsmen to the last detail, then changed the color. 2:12 same location for tools.
20:14 video was sped up, This saw would've taken twice as long to cut this wood. I was watching the blinks on the cylinder in the left of the video. 20:26 see the burn marks on the wood? That is either the blade or the miter being misaligned. This is also common on saws lacking in power. Would be advisable to setup a vacuum for the dust. The Craftsmen came with a bag for the 12" open hole in the bottom. I guess Ryobi didn't.
Yes, I increase the speed in many of my videos. I don’t want people to get bored watching things in real time if it takes awhile to get something done. 😊
Hi Alan! I’m not able to get to my tablesaw at this moment, but I’ll make myself a note to check the model number as soon as I can, and I’ll get back with you!😊
