It rotates the “wrong way” so do you make a better cut with the face down? Looks like it chips a lot with the face up
@spinks4integrity
@spinks4integrity Год назад
Just be sure blade is connected on the right side. What I do to help prevent chipping at the end of tile is I put a little painters, tape or any kind of tape on the tile while I’m doing the cut that should help
@VanillaIceCoffee
@VanillaIceCoffee Год назад
@@spinks4integrity I got one and have 48in pavers worth more than the saw itself, will be extra careful, I’m not used to reversed rotation so my instinct is to have the face down, will try both side anyways with good blades, hopefully it works out otherwise I have to find a bridge saw
@spinks4integrity
@spinks4integrity Год назад
@@VanillaIceCoffee you’ll do well, just remember to put painters tape on your cuts and let the blade do the work don’t force it a lot of times the chips come from trying to force it, so let the tool do the work and be safe
@tbone2451
@tbone2451 4 месяца назад
Hey man ! Wanted to ask a question. I posted earlier that I just purchased one. I tried cutting 4 foot porcelain tile. I was getting a lot of sparking from the blade. And the cuts are a little rough, is it possible I didn’t have enough water pressure from the hose. The tiles are only 3/8 inches thick.
@spinks4integrity
@spinks4integrity 4 месяца назад
You hit it right on the nose, NOT enough water gonna make sparks and then wear out your blade if you haven’t done that already. You’ll definitely know because it’s gonna also take harder to cut.
@spinks4integrity
@spinks4integrity 4 месяца назад
Remember, if you’re cutting a lot of tile is a good thing to have a second blade just in case the first one starts to wear out
