I do restoration and maintenance on Mexican pavers and tile, in larger homes. Inside and outside. I brush first then mop then seal with a special sealer. This would be a great time saver for the first process.

I’m 4 years too late to get this puppy. I really wish they still made this tool or at least came out with a One+ HP version. Only ones I can find online are way too expensive and most are not Cordless. Such a bummer

It’s crazy how it even picks up those blocks of wood!! If helps to keep the dust down it’s definitely a viable alternative to a broom and dust pan!!

Even with the 4 amp battery I don’t think anyone will get a few hours of run time. You said the same thing about the three gallon shop vac. Shop vac has about a 20 minute run time maybe 25 minutes before a 4amp battery is dead and needs to recharge. I can’t wait for Ryobi to come out with their 9 amp batteries. I work as a remodel contractor and love all the tools ryobi has. I use them everyday.

Think this would work on turf to sweep up leafs?

do you find that the unit sometimes auto-adjust the height itself when the floor surface changes? Also, for the smooth surface adjustment, should the unit rise? You'd assume for the smooth toggle (all the way to the left) the unit should be flat and vice versa do the rough surface

You swept up a chili pepper, what is a chili pepper doing in your floor debris, no wait don't answer! I am tempted to pick one of these up.

Enthusiastic review, nice job on showing it. Personally I'd be done in 1/2 the time with a broom, especially the sample materials you were showing. Just not for me.

+Kue Man Thanks for the comment bro. Yeah, probably not for everyone, I just hate the broom lol. Thays why I put these reviews up though. Let's you see if you like before you buy

Yes - your reviews help. I've been testing the Ryobi cordless vacuums this past month and am keeping the P3240 the 3 gallon wet/dry shop vacuum and the P713, a hand-held dust buster type. Both are excellent. I had tried the P770, the large 6-gallon wet/dry vac, and while it is superbly built, very mobile, it is too big for what I need to do. I tried also the P718k stick vacuum (called the Strut) and that is really a great vacuum (currently though $199). I just wish they would sell it as tool only. The P714k is also very good, but it also is sold with a battery and personally think they missed on a few important issues with it. I hate the cowl as you cannot put on any attachments or accessories to get into tight spaces. Keep up your Ryobi reviews. We do watch and they are helpful.

+Kue Man you know your stuff. Just did a review for the new 3 gallon vac too. It's a little beast

How does it do with chunks of drywall or bits of sawdust? Do the brushes kick up it up in the air? Is this only meant for larger debris?
@ToolReviewZone
@ToolReviewZone 6 лет назад
Hey deftdawg. Will do good with chunks of drywall it not to large. As for dust and debris, does great, but you will probably have some kick up as there is no suction/vacuum with this, just the brushes. Actually does a really good job all around

I like this. I am a little concerned about the read caster, it looks like one off a plastic shelving unit. But I could see myself buying one for cleaning up large job sites after renovation. Or maybe I will get it for the wife to use in the house? LOL

Could you use this in the fall outside to pick up leaves?
@ToolReviewZone
@ToolReviewZone 6 лет назад
Hi Jose, I would only use this on a hard surface, and the leaves would need to be dry. Would not use this on wet leaves.

What about quarter size chunks of dry and some wet mud? Lots of it. Like a warehouse full. I'm looking for a cheap alternative to broom sweeping to show my boss how we could save time and manpower. And tired arms.
@ToolReviewZone

Hey Michael. It will work great for dried mud/dirt, but will probably clog up with very wet mud

How does it go with sand? Thats the test for any mechanical sweeper to see if it spreads it or picks it up in 1 pass
@ToolReviewZone

Hey Ricky, this thing shines with larger debris, but your going to struggle with just sand. No suction on this unit.

Hey Armor. Not sure if this is a question or statement, but this would be good for larger areas. I am not the manufacturer or seller of this sweeper, just showing how it works for those that are interested.
