This video shows how to diagnose failing bearings in a Ryobi 40v brushless electric lawn mower motor and how to replace them. The motor is very simple to repair, and the parts cost very little (less than $4 for the parts used on this motor). I will include links to the parts I used below.
This motor was being used in my Electric Lawn Tractor Conversion for about a year and a half, when it started getting super noisy. I found the bearings had failed due to stress from the drive belt. I will post another video about how I have attempted to solve this problem for the future. I will also be showing more about the wiring for these motors to make them reversible and have a variable speed control in an upcoming video.
The replacement bearings came from PGN Bearings, which I bought on eBay. The motor requires two different bearings.

Where do I find this clean living room floor?

It's very rare, since it take me no time at all to make a mess of it.

Random question, but do you happen to have the measurements on the motor mount area? I have a 21in self propelled model that was given to me and I want to replace the broken motor mount with a 20in version motor if it’s compatible. Thank you in advance!

Center to center on the holes nearest each other is 3&3/8" or 84mm. Distance across the mounting points at the outside, the widest part, is 5&3/8". I do know that the 21" blades and 20" blades are compatible with each other's motors because I'm using 20" motors with 21" blades on my lawn tractor conversion.

Could you tell me if this motor works at an angle of 60 or 120 degrees? I need to know how to adapt a hall sensor board to a similar engine...

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know how to tell the difference.

If you don't have a socket with the same size outer diameter as the bearing, you can use the old bearing in place of said socket. (Everyone note that you only want to hit/put pressure on the outside of the bearing)

Can I run this motor for using DC adapter.

There is no reason you couldn't, but you still need the controller. You would have to connect the DC adapter, that is powerful enough, to the hot and ground 40v input of the controller. The only thing is, if you use the original controller, there isn't anything to connect the battery sensor wire to. I'd have to check to see if it is needed. If you use an ebike controller I know it wouldn't be needed.
