Ryobi Blower Long Term Review - Five Year Ownership Review By Home Maintenance Professional 

2 thumbs up, sir! I know Australia gets different stuff than the US, but Ryobi hasn't sold that style blower in the US for several years now. The light-weight model we used to get had a paddle-style switch, bit different from yours, and I bought my 1st one around 2005 or 2006. Unfortunately, the hard plastic blower wheel sheared off the motor shaft which was a shame because Ryobi doesn't sell replacement parts like that. But I kept the unit to use for parts and bought a replacement around 2009. I'm still running it 14 years later around the house to blow dry leaves off my deck, porch and driveway and sometimes use it up on the roof to blow off dry debris. Great, lightweight option when I don't need to use my backpack blower.
