The biggest finish nailer you have is a 16 gauge, the 15 gauge has an angled magazine, and the nails are angled as well

I also have the 16 gauge, only other choice I saw listed was the 18 gauge, but needed one bigger for my purposes.

Difficult to see what you are showing us when you hold things up to the camera. You might want to hold it there a bit longer without moving it about so we can actually see.

Battery operated nailers are the best thing that ever happened to pneumatic tools.

FYI / for viewer clarification: there's no such thing as a "crown stapler" - all staples have a crown (that's what makes a fastener a staple). The WIDTH of the crown (3/8", Narrow, etc) is the nominal distinction between the different staple types. Ryobi makes both a 3/8"-Crown Stapler and a Narrow-Crown Stapler; the one featured in this video is the latter. Ryobi's marketing sometimes gets this wrong as well, which is probably contributing to the confusion.

They have a 34 degree framing nailer as well. But it's mostly sold in Australia

What kind of animal do you have to be to lift a 9AH battery comfortably in the HP nailer lol

This is exactly the video I was looking for. I've got an upcoming project and wasn't totally sure which one I needed.. this video helped greatly. Even better, Home Depot has the 18-gauge one on sale this weekend. Thanks so much!

The 15 gauge claims to handle 2 1/2” nails. Won’t take dewalt and others, only Porter Cable which claim to be 2 1/2 but are actually shorter.

Ryobi has some decent nailers, but I think it's time for Ryobi to jump the move and make them all brushless once and for good.

16 ga. not 15 ga. I have both

test have been done, and 16 and 15 ga. have about the same strength.
@adamjames1375
@adamjames1375 4 месяца назад
@@georgefredericks2699 I don't doubt their fasteners holding strength is very similar when using the same length nail, as their diameters are so close. In practice I've found the angled 15° magazine is much more maneuverable as well as being able to shoot 2-1/2" nails as opposed to 2" in 16°. They also seem to punch slightly better especially through corner bead/metal stud e.t.c...

@@adamjames1375 I actually prefer the 15 ga. myself. I liked your video very much. I am actually a pastor and DIYer. Thank you for your video.

Hey Brent, though Ryobi also calls it a "crown stapler", you didn't mention the regular stapler, which also works great. I have it, the 18g brad nailer, 21 degree framing & the 16g finish nailer, all are great tools. Thanks
